I see even at this level it’s already 6 bagged in as many months. I wouldn’t be buying just for the mask side of it.

Can any of the LTH’s tell me more about the mask. Cost, is it disposable etc. Most antiviral masks on the market are reusable and quite expensive. I did see it mentioned a £ a mask Does anyone have a link. Cheers.

The portfolio holdings look very interesting. Why do they only have a value of just over £1m in the last report for all of their holdings ( 20 or so ). Surely it’s got to be worth much more. Any LTH’s here that know.

I understand that the valuations on record may be well under true value. The company has total value of all holdings in the report at under £1m. Surely it has to be way more than this. Can any LTHs shed any light Thanks

I don’t think it will go down this route as if there are several interested parties like they say - would there be several companies all with their buddies accumulating shares to just under 3%. I think it could possibly go down the route of share capital reorganisation which has happened in a couple of US companies recently. It avoids the need to accumulate shares on the open market. Wait and see is the only answer. GLA.

The strangest part that I find is that only 3 or 4 months back it’s entire MCAP was only £250k. Nobody scooping up shares then if they were interested, they could have easily acquired 10% for £30k. It only seemed to move on a herd instinct following. There are still no large share holders.

Totally agree. I could see Motif were on a slippery slope to start with against the FDA. I am interested to see how this works out. Will they sell Iclaprim and continue with a RTO as a shell or will Iclaprim be part of the deal. Anyone’s guess. GLA.

For many years, not just recently there has been a need for more antibiotics and yet just a tiny % of trials are for that. I’m working on over 200 trials and i honestly don’t recall any being for a Novel antibiotic. With Motif already failed at phase 3
Three times, even after the FDA said the drug should not be developed further - ‘ a reason many quoted as being a factor for the FDA to waste so much time etc on the third attempt ‘. I find it hard to see anyone taking this on. It will take tens of millions and several years to get back to the final hurdle. From Roche at the start and many companies since over more than 20 years it is still / or was undergoing . It’s been up for sale and still no buyers. It will be interesting to see how this plays out

The RNS has stated they are in talks with several parties. Nobody is accumulating a large holding and why didn’t they Accumulate when the entire MCAP for Motif was just £250k Just a few months earlier this year ( was the level of debt just too high ) They have also had Iclaprim up for sale the same duration and yet as far as is known they haven’t been able to sell it. I’ve watched this over the years as I work and have an interest in clinical trials and I just can’t figure this one out. No doubt all will be revealed soon. Good luck.
