Thanks again KilkennyTed. The Kent report on page 17 gives samples per day – both the Samba and DNA Nudge do single samples so they estimate 7-10 tests/day and 13 tests/day respectively. Using Q16’s they reckon on 150 tests/day with 300/day for Q32’s. I know which machines I would want to use!
Well just bought a few more at 10.575. Shows as a sell but definitely a buy! Planning on holding for as long as it takes as we journey on into using LFTs for all kinds of different diseases.
All, I think you may be right in that cash will be of a concern going forward; but can imagine the stink that might arise if following the hearing where Abingdon' appear to have been an innocent party, they then end up having to take actions as before with redundancies or whatever. I doubt the DHSC or UK Government would want that getting into the press.
Thanks V5Honda; the article from Prof Christina Pagel is really worth reading in full. Some friends think they are clear having had Covid once; couldn't be more wrong. Others are still affected by Long Covid. Stay safe...and patient all LTHs.
Hi Brent, I am of the same opinion and like many I'm underwater. That said I went in deeper yesterday after seeing the RNS and hearing what they had to say. Yes, it's still hard to forecast 2022 and Covid or other sales so I am not expecting anything other than a breakeven year. Hence I'm looking at my investment over a two or three year period. Partnerships or M&A activity would be a bonus, but with or without I am holding. Yesterday led me to rest even easier than before and I sleep well anyway. I just wish I had copied my feedback before I sent it in. I asked for quarterly updates but even if they don't provide some I fully expect to hear news from Bio' and/or from PI research whilst reading between the lines of world news on Covid. I like the direction the company is going in and urged David to just settle with DHSC, unjustified or not, so you he press on with plans as outlined.
Hi Davand. Agree with your comments and those of several others. I am still very underwater but just went in for another 6,429 shares. Don't really care whether that shows as a buy or sell; I know it was a buy; so I guess that make my opinion a Strong Buy! The share will continue as a roller coaster so leave if you can't stomach it. Yes Covid testing down in the UK, but we know it runs in waives. Listen to the WHO and virologists. I just like the direction the company is going in and messaged to say please just settle with DHSC, unjustified or not, so you can press on with plans as outlined.
Kaeren, regarding DAM Health you might not have seen this article https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10749049/Medical-firm-sees-huge-demand-Covid-home-testing-kits-government-stopped-free-tests.html
B2HS2L, I found an email for Charlotte Brookes in the public domain at https://www.northampton.ac.uk/directories/people/charlotte-brookes2/
DRB83 and HarChris totally agree. In fact when the share price shenanigans are so crazy it gives me confidence! The 2.50 at the open yesterday and the daily grind down led me to go in with another 2,000 shares at 1.97 today. Do your own research and as Oddball says “Have a little faith baby”.
Hi WBAFC, I take re-assurance from the approach taken to protecting their intellectual property and are fully aware of the corporation tax relief advantage under the Patent Box scheme. They register trade marks and wrote this in the past - see https://novacyt.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Novacyt-H1-results-final-.pdf
Expanding patent portfolio to protect and secure future growth
• The Company has invested in growing its patent portfolio, with 22 patents filed
since the beginning of 2020 to protect its proprietary position. This will be a
continued focus for Novacyt in the future and cover specific products in terms of
design sequences, processes and workflow solutions."
When it comes to processes they may choose to keep these totally secret with appropriate employment contracts rather than patent but there is no way of knowing.
Hi Kaeren, I'm no expert but from looking at this it seems one might be able to get messages back - see https://www.fonedog.com/android-data-recovery/recover-old-whatsapp-messages.html. I know from year past that deleted PC files could be reinstated; a deletion on a hard disk was much like rubbing out the first letter of the title on the contents page of a book. Putting the letter back makes the index work again and you can then read the page in the book. Not always possible if someone has written all over the page in the book (or the hard disk if you get me).
Well the Healgen trademark is owned by Zhejiang Orient Gene Biotech Co.,Ltd. in China so I wonder? See https://trademarks.ipo.gov.uk/ipo-tmcase/page/Results/1/UK00003682695
Hi Kaeren et al, I go to the London Stock Exchange most days where you can download all the trades of the day - see https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/NCYT/novacyt-s-a/trade-recap and click on "Download". Once in Excel you can sort on trade value (or any other column) as you probably appreciate.
This time Jean-Pierre Crinelli, Non-Executive Director - see https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/NCYT/director-pca-dealing/15375384
Thanks Sharestack - the last few sentences are worth quoting thus:-
......Dr. Van Kerkhove explained that the data shows that COVID-19 vaccines remain ‘incredibly’ effective to prevent severe disease and death, including against Omicron. She added that the world also needs a very strong surveillance system for COVID-19 to be aware of how the virus is evolving. “Despite all of the challenges that we are facing, we still need to maintain testing, we still need to maintain robust sequencing and making sure that we have geographic representation of the sequences that are shared”, she underscored.
