I really can’t see how there could be material un-announced news. The only thing ongoing operationally is a drill which is nowhere near target depth.

Personally, I have the opposite problem to cox: every time I think about the KSZ and what success means, and then I look at the derisory share price, I have to fight my arm away from the buy button…

Don’t know if it will affect the SP today or not. It is positive news but we might still be in the post-placing churn phase where the merits of the company play second fiddle to the burning desire of the placees to exit at a loss rather than holding for medium and long term gains…

This makes no difference to shareholders in terms of ownership or economics. All that has happened is that UFO has put the iron ore projects into a dedicated subsidiary. It’s sensible project management and risk management where you have several quite different projects. And should speed things up in that (for example) it’s much easier and quicker for future contracting counter parties to do due diligence on a new and self contained company. Good move for sure

Fuku, I agree - nothing mysterious going on with the share price. We have been around 5-5.10 most of the past month. We ran a bit lower after hole 3, presumably because people hadn’t listened that that was a geological hole. Then higher on the updated modelling for hole 4 and the 30km strike length RNS. Spiked higher still on the Molopo news but since that’s quite remote at the moment we were always going to fall back from that one. And here we rest, around where we were after the 30km strike length RNS. All makes sense to me. Just got to wait for news on the next hole now

Decent points there, Prospector. If I may say, I think you’ll have persuaded more people with that post than the one calling people morons!

Hi Prospector. It’d be fair enough to say “take this hole on its own merits; more results to come; review the whole picture at the end”. But if you take this hole on its own merits, it’s disappointing full stop. 0.14% is rubbish, never going to get mined. Nobody wants to say that, so instead we get this notion that the drilled section is not the real target, that’s just a bit deeper down. And it’s presented as though we know it’s there, we get a diagram suggesting we know where it is, and so on. That’s what begs the question, if you’re so confident about the real target, why have you just sunk 5 holes into something that’s not the real target and then stopped?

Hi Strummer. Yeah, “there’s better stuff deeper” doesn’t do it for me. It could be the case but I don’t like the certainty with which it’s presented when in reality it’s a guess, albeit an educated one. Also, if there’s such a strong belief in it why not put a couple of drill holes into the real target now, rather than nipping off to Plateau?

I don’t know whether or not it would be economic to mine copper alone in the KSZ. I would have thought it must depend on grade, total amount, depth etc. If there’s enough of it I’m sure it would be worthwhile.

I don’t follow the point that if a company has one copper prospect it might not be interested in another one. I would have thought on the whole it works the other way round - it’s actually more efficient to have lots of one thing

I’ve said this before but Ben really is making it a pleasure to invest in this company. We get so much news, so much information - nicely presented, multiple formats etc. For me it creates a huge amount of goodwill towards the company. Other explorers should take note

I don’t mind admitting I’ve got my eye on a 50-bag from 5p. Requires a market cap of £1bn. Both GGP and Chalice have been above that on assets much smaller in scale than the KSZ. Obviously we need good exploration results to be able to compare ourselves to those companies. But if we get those results, the sky’s the limit. How much was Norilsk worth in today’s money when discovered? £1bn doesn’t come close!
