RE: Why the fruit would they say they see no reason for the rise27 May 2020 18:01
Repost of something i put on this morning before the interview. Now tell me no reason for sp increase, and it doesn't need 50m figure to make it attractive.
There are enough clues out there but in case you missed them:

Advised labs not to analyse the Superdrug or other tests of this type
Consistent messages that end of May/early June would be the expected coming of age date
Omega scaled up production facility with an urgent build completed in one week, target 5/600k tests per week
Recruitment of over 20 staff with a plan to go to 24/7 shift patterns
Consortium partners scaled up production and recruiting staff
Consortium partners been tweeting about lateral flow tests
Consortium partners tweeting about their data capture applications
Governments 5th pillar to grow a world leading diagnostics industry fit for the future
Sir Jon Bell saying in interview we expect to have the gold standard test selling millions in the UK with global demand
Plans for certification of immunity
RTC progress mention during recent press conference
Further recruitment in RTC and partners such as Ciga
Message shared from Omega - design freeze weeks not months (i believe 2-3 weeks ago) and progress going well
Further relaxations of lock down measures coming over the coming weeks
Track and trace due 1 June, confirmation from the Welsh government that logging of test results will be an add on
No other self test kit of any noteworthy approval
Amazon and Boots on stand by for distribution
I am sure i have missed a few things, but if this isn't enough you have high expectations!
