George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Musk is a bully and he only wants to win so he doesn’t lose it’s got nothing to do with the financial side. We know they were in negotiations and we know the judge thought the trial may never happen. Maxwell action is purely power play the longer they can drag it out the better it is for them (they think) the next step for Tesla to open a lawsuit is also power play to bully us into submission. Cpx are taking the right stance by not backing down and calling out teslas action for what it is.
That all depends on whether we are actually infringing the patent, if we are not we just carry on if we are we can either stop production and limit damages or continue production and pay more damages. The stance of CPX appears to be we are not infringing so we just carry on as normal.
that's if it even has enough substance to get to court, remember just because he files a law suit doesn't mean he has any grounds to do so, it has to be filed and his side has to be at least heard whether or not he's talking *******s.
you have to think why now? why has he suddenly decided to sue cpx now? why not when we start to infringe his patent surely you would do that straight away right? it's all a power play it's their last card to play before we go to trial. why would you stand up and use all of your power against a tiny company in australia? maybe it's because they know know they've already lost and they're trying to scare us into submission. typical bully.
Not entirely sure on the figure but a rise of this magnitude in one day might trigger the "we know of no reason why the share price is rising' RNS. Hopefully this doesn't come or the at least try to back the rise up with some kind of explanation.
Remember they increased their prices to start the new financial year so a lot of existing customers will have bought in bulk at lower prices so orders and sales for the first half of the year will be lower. These orders bounced back and with new sales coming to fruition the sales for the second half should be much higher. if we're showing a profit then this would account for the rising share price.
The order book is improving and at 31 December 2022 was 47% higher than at the start of the current financial year and 85% higher than its low point at the end of August 2022, with a significant portion of the increase coming from those customers whose sales in the first six months were less than expected.
I"m hoping this is more likely to be year end related. People will know what's sold since the last update.
"We are disappointed by the large drop in product sales for the first half of this financial year however the Board is confident the Company will see a rebound in the second half of this financial year. Its optimism is based on recent customer orders received, recent design wins and feedback from the market. The performance of our Seven Hills facility continues to improve where reject rates over the past six months improved by nine percentage points on the previous six months. We expect to see further improvements moving forward which will in turn improve gross margins. We look forward to a much stronger sales performance in the second half of the year."
