Let’s be honest ECR was disgustingly oversold, should go back to the placing price of 2.2p at least short term although any decent assays and/or licenses should get us far higher imo. I’d also like official confirmation of the new drill as having another one owned has massively positive imolications.

Considering Midas was circa 150k I suspect they have loads of cash left!

Some chunky buys this afternoon, looking good for a decent bounce all being well.

ECR are mad not putting out an official RNS if they have indeed purchased a new piece of kit.. It's just what the market wants to here right now!

Adam seemed very confident the licenses were almost in the bag though.. Obviously confirmation is crucial.

Perhaps the contractors at Creswick had another job lined up so ECR had to cough up to keep the aggressive drilling program alive? CB (and Adam) wax lyrical about how contractors miss stuff and aren't thorough enough... Perhaps they feel they'll get far better assays (and therefore better JV offers) if they drill it themselves?

I'd be much happier if we drill CW ourselves.

Ohh.. Andrew has spoken with ECR and they've confirmed it! RNS inbound then surely?!

If they have, then they should DEFINITELY announce it in an RNS.

I mean they announce resignations so why not a new drill?! It has massive implications if they have for ongoing drilling projects and speed of results.

I'm not getting too excited though, we need clarity.

Good down to earth interview I thought. Adam making clear also that the recent/current holes are most certainly pathfinders which will lead to more focussed drilling to isolate the 'pockets' (which could be deposits of $20m a pop potentially).

Very confident about the licenses, which many speculate are the caveat to JV discussions.

I get the impression CB has stepped back a bit.. Doing a joint interview and then allowing Adam to go it alone. An honest and modest move in light of current sentiment if so. CB needs to concentrate on the nitty gritty.

Not all results are in though.. there are some upcoming assays due from holes completed weeks ago at both projects. Baseless ramp here.. but is it conceivable that they’re squirrelled the best for some kind of ‘reveal’?! Can they do that?! I’m only suggesting this because of hints in RNS’s that outstanding holes have exciting characteristics, and also how excited the geo seemed. Dunno.

I’ll admit I entered after any of that shenanigans!

It’s bonkers really isn’t! At 3.5p+ we -

- had no idea about the potentially game changing HR3 anticline system.
- No drilling program at Creswick (that has struck gold with every hole so far)
- No Queensland licenses
- less cash in the bank
- Cherry tree drilling a long way off (now they’re at it like the flappers)
- knowledge that fosterville are after new virgin ground in close proximity (HR3 anticline?!)

(I may have missed one or two things)

All that new stuff apparently took 40% off the sp... or was it CB’s fund raise I can’t remember ;)

Sentiment rules atm; but fundamentally we’re in a better position than we were so I’m not selling.

I too have trimmed some of my wider market stuff to hedge against the delta causing havoc.. but I think people will be eying up gold regardless, particularly due to the impending inflation.

The overall consensus of the RNS notes and sentiment from ECR’s geologists is that so far we’ve achieved what we set out to in regards to exploring the sub surface, identifying the anticline system, finding boundaries, veins, soil samples etc..

It gives an overall impression that once they’ve got a clear understanding they’ll really go hunting for the good stuff.

Like with mock GCSE’s you end up able to pin point your focus and get an A* in the actual exam (A* being bonanza grades!) lol
