Also.. CB made it clear that yesterday’s results represented a preliminary understanding, Adam was then asked about the subsequent holes and he said they’re liking very good (with a big smile).

Still, regardless, some still selling @ 1.73

I honestly hope they cry into their cornflakes on a few months time when things start motoring. Sellers have held us back for far too long, it’s time to get moving and by the looks of the interview things are about to get very interesting!

They look like the cat that got the cream, giggling at the idea of mining both sites! I got the sense that Adam was dying to tell more, he couldn’t hold back his excitement.. interesting how he said Creswick is fast coming up to being as prospective as Bailieston..

Is that visible gold in the quartz?

I mean I get the sentiment thing star, but to sell on a gold strike on what’s clearly the start of an assay run is what’s baffling. Surely if it’s sentiment alone you’d have packed up weeks ago?!

I’m intrigued to know the reason some are selling at 1.75p after today’s news. I’m genuinely baffled as to why a high grade strike on the first hole with many more to come from both licenses is the cue to exit. Intrigued and frustrated.

Do we expects CB to conduct an interview after this update?

Indeed, so much to come.

My honest opinion is sellers throwing in the towel now, considering ECR are literally of the verge of releasing assay after assay.. are better off gone frankly.

Apart from the obvious sentiment issue that ECR have addressed very well (their daily Twitter updates are fantastic and insightful + CB has since carried out a number of far more confident interviews) I see only positively. Sure, some results won’t hit, but we only need one BIG one to be life changing and they’re firing on all cylinders.

There are clearly sellers or some sort of short term shenanigans going on though.. As this is the second time we’ve had a positive RNS, sp marked up then immediately marked down.

The thing is, shares like ECR drop with news then rocket 40% in a day for seemingly no reason. I’ll never truly understand the stock market!

Yes that placing and spate of flustered interviews really has busted the flush currently hasn’t it! Very frustrating indeed.

However...

The material news is now starting to drop. Hole 1 achieved what ECR hoped (according to the rns) regarding identification of the shale and where to drill next.. HR3 results due and the fact that they’re heading back for an unscheduled phase 2 implies something’s brewing!

Let’s have more results ECR.. a few mega hits wouldn’t go amiss!

Raised sentiment and expectation can be positive though if newsflow meets the expectation..

Imagine HR3 had delivered stunning results when the SP was at 4p...

If any of our drills hit gold we need a 100% rise just to get back to that level!

I’d like to see the sp rise a bit on hopeful expectation and then be rewarded with a re rate from a higher level, say the placing price of 2.2 for starters!

On balance, if results are crap the sp tanks harder with an inflated price.. But cmon we’re overdue good news let’s think positive!
