Yes I too would like to know why ECR are calling the last few sets of results successful. I don’t have time to copy/Paste the paragraphs this second, but Each RNS made it clear that the drilling results were what they’d hoped for. I am of the understanding that these holes are pathfinders.. CB has mentioned this in interviews also. I’d certainly like to see some better intersections though, as would the market!!

No share is safe by any means, but what ECR have going for them is cash in the bank and a long drilling campaign. Some companies have one go at license due to logistics/cash etc whereas ECR have the luxury to drill as they please (within reason). Australia is also a far ‘safer’ place politically than other juniors.. I just wish they’d get their act together and process the licenses!

I think to a degree ECR have got seriously unlucky dropping that RNS on what is pretty much a bloodbath day! Everything from crypto to BP to gold stocks have fallen off a cliff.

When will our luck change ffs?!

CW proving the gold is there and the results were what they were ‘hoping for’ in regards to exploring the DMS. Some wider intersections next time and we’re flying. Selling now is a mistake imo, each to their own. Loads more results due any time too.

Indeed Trumpy. What’s important for many newcomers to appreciate also, is that the initial drilling (in HR3 particularly) were pathfinder holes to prove up the anticline.. I fully suspect and hope phase two will be targeting the sweet spots and deliver far better grades.

Yes the one thing we can both agree is results are needed! And I’ll be extra positive to balance the books.. ha! Pretty sure that’s how the Musk simulation works!

Selling the dream is a general term for promoting, getting shareholders interested, having II’s look in.. Semantics aside I’d argue that company promotion is definitely in CB’s job description.

JTB, the public ‘they can jog on’ chatter in interviews has made me cringe a bit to be fair. That should be kept to the board room, it’s like telling someone you think a girl’s ugly when she’s stood in the corner listening!

Also, if the drilling of Creswick makes for a far better JV, and the justification for the aggressive program was down to the placing, CB will look like a genius.

Now the drills turning it’s less about CB now. His job was to sell the dream, which IMO he was doing fine until that placing fiasco! I do honestly believe covid and external factors have delayed timelines quoted in past interviews, so I am more forgiving, all directors like to hype upcoming things and ECR have no doubt had some things delayed beyond control.

We hit 4p on HR3 build up and the sniff of a jv. IF ECR start showing some cracking results and the idea of partnering with a ‘top 10 company’ becomes more of a reality, then 10p is very achievable.

For now, we wait.

I mean fair enough each to their own.

However with your logic every company’s a flop until it hits pay dirt.. which although theoretically true, you don’t get rich from buying in after the gold mine is built.

I understand sentiment RE the BOD’s jam tomorrow rhetoric, although with a 24/7 drilling program and money to keep it up for yonks, they’re doing everything they can to prove you wrong.

Personally I subscribe to a more positive outlook. Hoping for good results and the big boys wanting a piece.
