Seems destined for 2p, buying pressure is very strong atm. With ECR all but indicating a mine at CW this should be way higher imo. As CB said, we are 'significantly undervalued'.

Rampy I know, but with good reason!

I am excited about today's update for 2 reasons -

- You don't drop half a mill on a location to mine/set up base if you aren't highly confident.

- Not only will JV partners see that ECR mean serious business in the area, but perhaps more importantly (short term) it shows intent to deliver, a stipulation required in further acreage licenses. These are awarded on merit. ECR are proving they are the company to be awarded the additional land, IMO.

I'm disappointed when I speculate.. but it's been ages since we were 'tipped' that CJD001 had 'Significant quartz veining'.. I read that as ECR telling the market they're onto something exciting.. IF these cores are particularly good, perhaps a JV partner is indeed sniffing around, hence the delay?

Although it may not get the Garry down the pub excited, navigating his poorly organised HL app with his greasy crisp fingers.. If the geology is shaping up nicely by drilling the horizontals then you can bet potential JV partners are getting excited.

I mean they could prove a point by doing a few cheeky verticals. But that would be pandering and they have a clear strategy.

I understand where you're coming from Paul, but CB was trying to illustrate the point that diagonal drilling intersects shallower sections/layers than vertical. There has been a lot of negativity about the strike widths of late so CB was making an extended point, but IMO he wasn't spouting numbers for the sake of it, rather an educated guess as to the possibilities of intersect width if they drilled vertically.

I agree it's nothing new, but a much better performance from CB than a few months ago when he seemed frustrated.

He seems as confident as ever that we will have a number of resources.

They really do themselves no favours bleating on about non stop news then releasing only a few RNS's. By their own admission we should be due a shed load! Perhaps the labs have been delayed?

I don’t defend CB, he needs to prove the placing (and damage it caused) was worth it long term by delivering.. My decision to stay and top up is based on the geologists interpretation of findings and opinion that our licenses (and gold already found) is worth more than 1.5p.. in fact didn’t the broker value the current licenses around 4.5p not so long ago?

Yes I think even the most hardcore ECR fan must concede that the placing has done far more harm than good.. However I do think it’s important to put that behind us.. JLP was notorious for dodgy placings and the sentiment stunk.. I bailed at 2.4p.

CB must prove beyond doubt that the extra $ raised from that placing warranted the obvious slap in the face. Time will tell.

For now, my enthusiasm for the future is fuelled by the matter of fact information provided by Adam Jones.

The general market is very shaky.. but gold stocks historically perform well in times of uncertainty (as gold inevitably rises). Covid stimulus talks etc will surely cause hold to increase as people will look to hedge and dodge inflation. Who knows.

All I know is ECR need to drop a beautiful RNS soon to stop the rot! ;)

Typical though, nothing but buys since 11am and not a single solitary move upwards.. yet a few low volume sells this morning and the MM’s dumped us 8% - same old same old.
