Time will tell. While they may 'raise flags' for you, I (and many others) see recent developments as evidence that ECR are gunning for a resource. If they were a lifestyle Co why spend the cash? Sit on it, tread water, and pay yourself for years to come.. For me the major frustration is clarity. I'd like a well structured plan of action, not cryptic podcast and/or geologists giggling about building a mine.

SnipVW haven't read a single post of yours that is not oozing with negativity. If you distrust ECR/CB so much why are you invested? genuinely curious.

IF it ends up all legit and an exciting new venture, it almost feels poetic that shareholders have managed to find out about it first via a website timing slip (if indeed this is the case). It will force ECR to spill the beans and not be so bloody cryptic about it like they have with other things!

ShareTalk's post will stir up some interest and curiosity. I think Monday will be interesting.

If it is legit (which by the company logs it appears so) I think it’s a potentially lucrative side hustle which may even fund future projects is successful and help mitigate cash drain. However it CANNOT be a distraction! More a way of making use of owned kit in periods that they are not being used by us, which is smart and economical. As long as 90%+ energy is spent on mining and building a mine then I’m cool with this. it also hedges against other things. GLA

On the plus side Lucky it’s not eggs in one basket RE results.. Some oil companies/miners rely on one or two flagship drills and if they’re dusters it’s lights off and 70% sp dump on RNS day. I’m glad ECR are not in that position, if results aren’t great for a particular prospect they can easily move on to the next with their own gear. I mean this can’t be an endless routine obviously as money doesn’t last forever but ECR has so much more freedom to hunt for the big one! Hopefully this seasoned chap can help

'I'd also be keen for an update on license application' - Yep this is the biggy for me atm. Due to the nature of the horizontal drilling we're clearly not getting the kind of 'in your face' black and white type of results the fickle market wants to re-rate the sp (I say fickly because if anybody actually takes the time to digest the webcasts it's clearly explained as to why the intersections are narrow on the horizontals). Licenses therefore will be the driver IMO (unless we get some whopping horizontals!). So yes, I want to know the status of these as they have BIG implications for warrant sales + JV negotiations etc

Even a tweet with our up to date license status/s would give us some idea.

What I want to know (detail wise) is what gave them the confidence to spend 30% or their working capital on land for declines and tailing facilities.. Personally I see it as a very positive move, you would drill an area for months then buy land to set up camp if the geography was duff.. surely?!

You called CB foolhardy for buying land, you’re hypothesising that it was a bad move, when in reality we don’t know all the details, just like with the lab. More detail on both fronts would be greatly appreciated though, if you’re reading CB...

On balance SnipVW you are also hypothesising about the land purchases with that last post.

I may be wrong here, but my interpretation of why a lab is handy is so they can do their own in house testing prior to sending the samples off get the official grades.. This way they can be more efficient with what they send. I'm sure there are other benefits also.

I remember the Alan Green podcast where he seemed pretty adamant that the local mines will be wanting ECR's pay dirt. ECR isn't tagging (@ing) the big boys for no reason IMO.
