It's difficult.. However I think psychologically we're at an important fork in the road.. We are at the transition from respectful silence to disrespectful neglect or indifference (from the market). IF the current members of ECR are to be in control for some time, it is imperative that they communicate well with shareholders or they will struggle, which is no good for us, themselves, or Craig's legacy.

Shareholders and those wanting to show respect have certainly done so, with kind messages, 51 share purchases and fairly long pause for breath. ECR still has a business to run and a legacy to uphold. I am not happy with the radio silence as it stands and would like to be informed. The market (and MM's) are using the silence against the Co at this point, and nervous or bored holders are bailing. Not good enough really.

Well the market is certainly telling ECR what it thinks about all this radio silence.

I suspect they’ll put out a brief update along with the expected results. There may not be enough development to release a stand alone RNS which is understandable. Gold on the Up.

In honesty I'd have liked a brief statement from the Co this week, even if it was just a wave from behind the stage curtains. We still have the rest of today and tomorrow though. The minor recovery from year low to 1.5-1-6 is encouraging in a small way.. Just need news to spur it on. I really am totally dumfounded by the Creswick results.. It has been literally MONTHS, and timeline wise weren't they submitted before Cherry Tree?! So what's going on?!

New drill should be grinding away shortly, we will hopefully get news of that.

I suspect some will propagate a takeover narrative, would rather things pick up organically though. The only way I'd be happy with a takeover at this stage is if the geology mapping is further on than we thought and it's showing multiple multi million dollar shoots that a major will pay big bucks for (although I'd rather they develop themselves and extract full value). Colin and AJ seemed confident that the market has no idea what ECR is sitting on.. In Craig's last interview he said ECR should be at least triple it's current value and that was 1.7ish. Looks bouncy, we are due news. GLA

A good listen. Great tribute and decent recap of what's at play. I liked when he said Adam (and several other geologists he'd spoken with) were super excited about the geology of Creswick (in particular). It was also re-iterated that the current drilling is all about geology mapping, and they will be targeting the 'red' zones in due course. Land purchases make more sense baring in mind recent land owner court cases.. ECR 'free to do what they like' on their own land.

Yes I too wonder how Craig’s unfortunate departure from the company will effect JV negotiations. He said the phone was ringing off the hook with potential partners in one of the webcasts.. so there was and presumably is still interest. It was also speculated whether the summer resignation could have been linked to a conflict of opinion regarding partnerships, but again, purely speculation. I doubt the ECR board will jump in with anyone Craig was not confident about for a quick ‘fix’. A statement is certainly needed in the short term to steady the ship. What a week! :-(

Indeed loch, total sociopaths the lot of them! It’s as if they know that a period of respectful silence will be held so take that as an opportunity to encourage selling by dropping the price disproportionately on low volume. I sincerely hope that Craig will have the last laugh and we can all come along for the ride and marvel at his legacy. Good luck ECR.

Thank you for you message Jody. I hope there can be a small comfort found in the knowledge that so many people around the World respected your brother and believed in his vision. We will all miss his enthusiastic and upbeat podcasts and videos.

Are we assuming that there will be a statement from the BOD at some point as to where we go from here? I see the MM's more than happy to capitalise on this tragic and unforeseen period of uncertainty. Would there be grounds to have the share suspended under these circumstances? I have never experienced anything like this so am clueless.

Is there a particular time for the 51 share purchase?

I’m sure the company will have an extra desire to succeed for Craig, and I hope that once we build the mines Craig so emphatically envisaged they put his name on them! I too noted Craig looked a bit poorly in a recent interview, however the word ‘unexpectedly’ generally implies it was out of the blue rather than ‘after battling...’ best not to speculate too much at this time.
