Although the market sees the pathfinder drilling as unimpressive I suspect geologists working for bigger entities will have a much better understanding. And if AJ is excited then surely they are too? I wonder if ECR will open up the door a little more for renegotiations.

Also, talking JV's, CB quiet literally said that there was a JV partner lined up and that there was just legal (dotting the I's) that needed doing. Either this deal fell through (which perhaps he would have mentioned?) or there is a deal lined up ONCE the licenses have been granted. If we get some license RNS's through, perhaps it'll kick off.

Still nothing on the TWELVE RIG international rental subsidiary!!?! Alan must ask about that on the next interview surely?

Don't forget though, stocks like this can turn +50% in an afternoon when they feel like it. I am nursing a loss but know the right news could get me back to profit in less than an hour. It just comes down to if you believe the news is coming. Personally, particularly after watching the podcasts where AJ explains the Creswick shoots, I think it will.

Don't discount upcoming HR3 results, new boss, licenses, new rig placement, soil samples, etc

Would like to see some Twitter activity ECR. I know it won’t help much but you should at least try! Would take less than 5 mins a day to give us a quick update or the day (or week). Anything!

ECR feels incredibly stagnant atm, I don't blame people for throwing in the towel. HOWEVER, we've been 'promised' short term news (before Xmas) so could be an exciting few weeks ahead, particularly if the results are decent.

I suspect an RNS confirming a new CEO will cause a rally, particularly if they're high calibre.

I feel like we could get some tasty license news at any moment. Hugely delayed and would be reported to the market the moment they're granted I imagine.

I remain glass half full. If we're still lingering here come next payday it would be silly not to average down :-)

Good post legal, and I agree.. however I give Adam credit for taking the baton. It’s now official that they’re head hunting a new frontman so in future we will have someone with more experience answering to the media.. although personally I like AJ’s matter of fact no BS style! As I mentioned below, instead of us all moaning perhaps we could be proactive and put forward a list of questions for the next one.

I agree though, it felt like Alan cut in a bit just when AJ was about to elaborate on a few points.

RE saving money on the property - it's an appreciation asset + saves on daily accommodation and storage costs which will mount up significantly over the months. Unless they realise they desperately needed the cash for something short term it's win win surely? + they can mess about as much as they like on the land with no red tape.

That’s pretty comprehensive which is good! Search for CEO underway and permissions granted to continue drilling. Interval wise, remember what CB reiterated, they are horizontals.. which potentially makes the high few high grade hits crackers.

I totally agree with you. The amount of times I've seen stocks where sentiment is at rock bottom, investors crucifying leadership, crystallising massive losses... Only to look back in a few months to see a total reversal.

The new BOD need to wake up though, as it's totally obvious now that the market is making mincemeat out of the silence.
