I don't think they delay news either way Dezzzy. We've had good and not so good (cherry tree) drop as and when this year, there didn't be a particular pattern. The only two scenarios I can think of is either

1. There has been the mother of all **** ups with lab processing (or it's been lost in the post!)
2. Information is being withheld due to confidentiality clauses.

Obviously I'm hoping that it's the first scenario, and the mitigating factor is that the licenses are dripping in now, which may have significant baring on any deal/deals ECR are partaking in.

All speculation.. but that's what these boards are for right!

More of the same really, although ECR seem happy with how the results are fitting into the jigsaw.

Well hopefully we get some news this week that will brighten our spirits. We were told we'd have drilling updates before Xmas if I'm not mistaken.. So times ticking.

The thing is, at these levels a .5 or .10 increase or drop is big % wise. Works both ways.

Apart from the sad news of Colin, ECR are far stronger than this time last year in terms of assets, licenses, and understanding of the DMS & anticline system. So the decline to 1.1p is sentiment driven, like with GGP.

It'll turn, and big IMO.

Orion, the geology is pointing to structures that match local mines, clusters/pockets of $10-20m. They are finding the gold within these structures, but currently their focus is on understanding the DMS and anticline (hence horizontal drilling rather than vertical). A new drill rocking up to virgin ground in an unknown district sure, I'll take your casino analogy, but come on, that post was a disingenuous cross ramp and you know it. GLA

The DMS and anticline structure are being mapped as we speak using the latest tech.. The haystack is becoming a hay pile.

One would hope, given our gung ho attitude and evidence of mass drilling, that we are given the award on merit. Perhaps this was one of the reasons why Craig insisted we remain drilling even when the geologists wanted a break?

Not that I want an unjustified pump, but surely license approvals will start the salivation process RE the possibility of a JV? It was patently obvious that the caveat was licenses.

OK then! Well done ECR for formally acknowledging two important license developments, that should wake the market up a bit hopefully! Drill sue any day now too so expect an update once that is deployed!

One thing I will add, in light of today's frustrating step backwards..

Is that If ECR have simply not bothered to RNS the granting of a DMS significant license, it is totally inexcusable considering how fragile things have been lately. Any positive news needs to be screamed through a megaphone.

I don't buy that the CW results are lab delayed. We, and other companies have released assays from way after the additional CW holes were due back, it just doesn't wash. Also, with ECR knowing how important any positive news is atm, why not spend the dosh and release the license RNS as soon as it was granted?! They're saving thousands in rental costs so 'saving' money on RNS costs doesn't wash either.. particularly license news, that has value attributed to it so should affect ECR's valuation.

The above leads me to believe that something's afoot at Creswick are news is being deliberately held back.

I'm not trying pump or create false hope, it's just a logical hypothesis.

We need something at least! the drip resumes ffs.
