Haha! Well I saw a spike in SP, then the last few reported trades on the advfn fees were some 100k’s @ 1.25p

Yes drilling is not the issue, in fact on several occasions Craig pretty much said that cores were stacking up in labs because so much was being done! It's the results that are being squirrelled, and the market is now sick of it, clearly. No point in waxing lyrical about drill efforts and sexy looking cores then going silent, just comes across as shady.

ECR seem to have this odd policy of releasing news only when they get pressured to.. Case and point, the new drill.. It was mentioned in an interview, no official news.. It took investors to ask and ask for an RNS to finally drop.. Or at least that's how it seemed.

I am encouraged by Andrew's appointment and Colin's stake building though. It seems there are things going on in the background. I just can't see Andrew committing to ECR unless he was sure of 'exciting times ahead', as he stated on twitter.

I also can't see ECR investing in a solid PR/interview guru if they had nothing to announce/talk about in the coming months.

I think ECR will pull it out of the bag, they still have decent cash reserves and a strong team (minus a gaffer, but that will soon change).. A continuation of the status quo however will not be tolerated.. If they want their billy bonuses they need the SP to go up! fact.

Yea it really is frustrating! And to clearly dodge the issue in interviews also! Just bloody hope it’s due to an NDA or similar!

We’re now overdue the ‘ah ha’ results now also.

Do better ECR, us loyal shareholders are getting restless, and none of us can be accused or being impatient, quite the opposite!

Yes I agree, a market savvy go getter (with a good reputation in the investment space) will surely have had to be lured in by something impressive.. he's clearly 'excited'.

....next few weeks?! it's nearly February. C'mon ECR, let's not fall into the same trap of saying one thing and doing another.

Hopefully now with Andrew onboard we'll have more consistent and reliable communication. Too many dangled carrots, lets have some substance!

In other news, crypto continues to slide heavily. I suspect those exiting digital assets may start sniffing around the gold/mining sector again.

We haven't had the 'ah ha' assays back yet.. I wonder if ECR were specifically waiting until Andrew was appointed to release them with maximum effect?

Andrew has 6.3k followers on twitter alone. That's nearly double the following of the company itself. I expect once the news gets out many who follow and support Andrew will have a nibble.

I know it's an over used phrase.. But, exciting times!

I expect AS to make some sort of announcement interview and tell us all why he went for it. Get off the blocks running.

Andrew will be fantastic for PR. Also, they wouldn’t hire somebody like AS if they didn’t have things to scream about! All bodes well.

Hunt for CEO continues, that will also be a big RNS to look forward to.

Although this is tumbleweed stuff, it does make me think the selling has finally stopped. Waiting for a a push from here, news due on several fronts.. CEO, assays, 2nd drill, licenses to make a few.

Yea to make a point in an RNS that they are easily contactable then proceed to ignore everyone is a bit sh*t really isn’t it.

Regardless of the personnel situation, if drills are turning and gold is being discovered that’s what counts atm.

Even if they had Elon Musk running the show, if they don’t discover gold then who cares. Things will stabilise massively when there is someone leading full time.
