Interestingly, MM's offering 1.09 for 1.5m+ shares. I've never seen them go above 1m on a dummy sell before + over bid.

De-ramper types that pop up 'conveniently' when a stock is struggling remind me of those sad broken home school bully types who prey on people when they smell vulnerability. schadenfreude.. Pretty sad really.. where were they a few weeks ago? exactly.

It's a low time for ECR atm, but I'm hoping for a turnaround! what keeps churning in my mind is how adamant Craig was at 1.7p that the stock should be 'at least 3 times' the value.. Now granted he had a company to sell, but he was very insistent that the market doesn't 'get' the bigger picture with the tenements and the progress ECR has made... Couple that with the deep pocket buying going on in the background and perhaps he's right.. What does Colin and Mr 20,000,000 on Friday know that the all the PI's jumping ship don't?

Hoping for HR3 news this week. Was that tweet was to wet our appetites?? Or are we bust by the weekend Nogoldhere?!

Agree to disagree SnipVW, I don't want to waste your time considering you have a full time occupation, but If you check the recent newsfeed you will notice the Queensland license approvals, further Creswick license approval, the appointment of Andrew Scott, and whatever else that can be gleaned from Adam in his recent interviews.

Granted the SP has sunk, and sentiment is crap, but the narrative isn't exactly as you paint it, is it.

I don't intend to 'add' anything, just discuss what's in the public domain. I have also vented frustration in recent weeks so my glasses aren't as rose tinted as you make out, but the reaction to the Creswick results is an interesting discussion and the RNS has taken time to digest. Either you believe Adam or you don't.

Anyway, I won't go on.. full time occupations and all that..

One thing I have noticed however, is that YOU only turn up when things are on a low, de-ramp, then berate others who have a differing opinion.

Also, Diamond drilling is for gaining knowledge of the geology, RC can then target the areas of interest and 'hopefully' give more comprehensive data on rock content. Adam has been fairly clear on this but I don't expect you've taken the time to actually watch any of the podcasts.

Sorry to see you go Legal, although as you say, you are still looking in. I totally get what you mean about investing too much mental energy into a stock.. It's a conundrum.. On the one hand you have the age old sayings 'don't get emotionally invested' etc, then on the other hand, from personal experience, I've sold stocks and seriously regretted it after (JLP @ 2p) and wished you'd given it more time to mature into the beast you saw when you first looked in. Total mind games stuff.

The weekend has given investors and the market time to digest the Creswick narrative. It is FAR from a failure and could still be a giant. What Adam said about the pocket structure wasn't pulled out of thin air.. They clearly exist and require further specialist drilling to isolate.

Near term our focus will likely flip to HR3, and hopefully we will get some decent results.

Zappy, yes. ECR have has assays back from HR3 (according to the interview from the beginning on Jan).. Adam was excited about one of them and called it an 'ah ha' moment..

He also said that the drills had already started at Anomaly A, which is a possible dilutional jog zone, so they could be back by now as that was over a month ago.. unless ECR are going to drill all A-D anomaly locations then provide a big HR3 report?!

I suspect those hoovering shares are the ones who understand the nuggety dilemma. Adam spells it out for us, and the next drilling will be more focused. Those who panic sold will most likely buy back once the reality dawns, or further (more obvious) good news drops. Intrigued to know what AJ meant by 'Ah Ha!' RE HR3... I'm not expecting it to be anything earth shattering, but enough to warrant a gold geo's excitement.. Will be an interesting week next week for sure.

I have to interject...

Now of course, call me rose tinted as I'm obviously invested and hope the best for ECR... however... All this 'Creswick is a piece of sh*t' narrative, can we consider the following -

- Adam Jones made it crystal clear that this campaign was all about formulating a detailed map of the geology, not hunting for a GGP motherload.

- Adam also made it clear that the nature of the deposit means that drilling small shafts + halving the core sample (as per the lab request) means that not all core will show high grades, BUT, he clearly knows the nuggety gold exists in varying sized pockets identical to locally producing mines, hence his excitement last year when he said that pockets of £10-20m exist along the DMS and it's viable to mine (which is one of the reasons Craig bought the land, to create a mine entrance)..

- Adam was excited about the prospect of further drilling the high grade zones to sure up resource figures.

- Adam is sure that the market is undervaluing the quantity of gold deposit at Creswick, so much as to make a point about it in the interview.

- In my honest opinion, and perhaps a body language expert can correct me, but Adam didn't appear disappointed, more a nonchalant attitude of 'OK we know what we know, let's do some more drilling and find out more'. I know your opinion differs here Legal, but he just seemed pretty chilled to me, disappointed more in the fact that the cores didn't contain the nuggetty stuff he's convinced is there, rather than being disappointed in the geology itself.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to polish a t*rd... The assay figures don't make for good reading.. But if Creswick is full of pockets of nuggetty gold as Adam insists, companies and JV partners that know far more about geology than we do will take note and presumably want to make a buck.

We move on to Blue Moon and await targeted HR3 drilling, but reading posts and tweets essentially writing Creswick off appear far too doomsday and over the top considering the facts.

That's enough for tonight. Perhaps ECR were getting these results out of the way ready for next week.. I'm convinced Andrew Scott would only have joined the team if there was some genuinely exciting prospects to come in the near term.

ECR proved their hypotheses and will be moving on.. I think anyone (including myself at times) hoping for some sort of rabbit in a hat bonanza with pathfinder geology have had a reality check.. however in actual fact ECR did what they set out to do. Creswick will be targeted again soon with more focused drilling but in the mean time they are targeting sweet spots at HR3 and Blue Moon, so game on, after a rather dampened Friday afternoon and encouraging sp recovery (relatively), I think we can move on with a stronger focus and draw a line under the outstanding Creswick result distraction!

Any number of near term news items can turn this ship around, so for now, I remain positive.

Lastly (apologies for multi posting), Adam was clear about the renewal of the Creswick license, we are the only ones in the picture + should be done in a month. That's reassuring at least!

In AJ's last interview he clearly talked about building a resource at Baillieston, so IMO crack on with that, the market will love it as it's boots on the ground stuff.. Send a drill to Blue Moon then in the background sure up the DMS.
