Good positive news today. 25-70% is a considerable jump in ownership and control :-) Bodes well.

Massively overdue an interview from the new gaffer. I would like to know his thoughts going forward.. What attracted him to ECR and where he sees the Co in 5 years etc. I also want to see Andrew more involved in PR proceedings. A few re-tweets doesn't really cut the mustard considering he's on the pay roll. I'm sure he's done a lot more.. Let's hear what!

I continue to monitor the licenses also, we are surely due the renewal + approval of EL006713 soon?!

My post was observational not critical of content. ECR have had plenty of weak moments in the past year or so to pounce on, it just sparks my curiosity as to why you’d suddenly invest so much time and effort highlighting as many negatives as you can at a time when ECR are seemingly picking themselves off the ground.

Melville out of interest why rear you head now and spend your precious time bashing ECR after the recent RNS? There have been plenty of opportunities to spin the negative over the last year or so, so why now? Why are you trying to put investors off ECR so much? What’s in it for you?

So many messages to catch up on so skimmed.. Have a beer Melly, we get it. If the sp was the only true reflection then how do you explain the surge to 4.5p.. it’s sentiment based. ECR are extracting data at present then will be hitting the red zone areas in due course. Sentiment certainly better and the new gaffer seems decent. A solid few months on the horizon I imagine. GLA

If you type 'spend it's cash wisely' into google news all you get is a string of almost identically written headlines from Simply Wall St. They're totally spam algorithmic articles for sure that have no immediate context. Certainly not worthy of a 10% drop if that's what's spooked investors. However, do we really want investors who jump ship that easily?! perhaps a good exercise to weed out the twitchy lot!

With public articles like that emerging though, causing uncertainty, we definitely need a forward looking statement from our new CEO (in waiting).. Tell us WHY you think ECR is worth your time and experience, what's our cash situation, 6 month plan etc etc

Yes cashking.. They're basing outgoings on a VERY exceptional and anomalous year.. It's not representative at all.

That said, building a mine won't be cheap, but if we're at that stage (ie we have a proven resource ready to be mined) then the SP will be WAY higher AND we will most likely have attracted a JV partner or something similar (fosterville etc)

Back after a busy day.. Jeez Mr Market.. You dump us 30%+ when we lose our CEO but can only muster 1.72% on the day ECR appoint a man with a proven track record and can boast about 30 bagging companies..

In reality we've risen about 10% since Friday as there was a 'leaky' surge at the end of play, but I agree with the poster below that the share could have a delayed reaction and rise in the coming days. Perhaps the wider marked are waiting for the opening statement?

It's worth watching some YT videos of Mr Andrew Haythorpe on YouTube, he seems like he has his head firmly screwed on, confident and a good communicator.

Will we be getting a welcome interview/webcast from Andrew imminently? It would be a good PR exercise for a formal introduction to investors.

I don’t see this appointment as anything other than a significantly positive step forward. ECR was crying out for leadership and a quality gaffer in the absence of Craig. Anything other than a decent jump today would be disappointing.

Indeed! We lost significant ground when we lost Craig, now the position has been replaced (respectively).

For a high caliber person to join ECR, I’d say it’s a great validation of our asset potential which in think the market will appreciate. As Andrew is an experienced GEOLOGIST as well as manager, he’ll know what to look out for.. he clearly likes what he sees so far! Encouraging.

I wonder if he’s mates with Colin ;-)

Well if this guy can turn $8m into $250m then what can he do with our $14m?! Game on I’d say!

And yes, some significant milestone options would be good to see.
