More hope from an anonymous poster on lse that the BOD of ECR. sums it up really.

Absolutely! Craig's sad departure knocked an initial 10% off the price. Fair.

The obliteration that followed the initial drop can be put down to the total lack of communication.

I honestly think with the right communication the BOD could have kept ECR floating in the 1.40-1.50 range pending material news. It's not good enough at all and frankly disrespectful to Craig at this stage.

To change the subject.. The company that was calling 'off the hook' RE a JV a few months ago.. I wonder if they're trying to sweet talk the new BOD?! I'd rather the new lot didn't agree to anything just to make headlines.. All that's needed atm is some communication.

They also need to update the bloody website! It still has Craig as Director after nearly a month.

Funnily enough so have I. I didn't moan per say.. Just asked if they'd be kind enough to resume communications as the their market value and trust is disappearing fast.

A few rather disingenuous points in there Snip (IMO) but on the whole I think you sum up the overall sentiment there! Rock bottom.

The only thing I’m ‘convinced’ of, is that when any share shows weakness, the de-dampers come out to play. Everything else is speculation until we have an official comment or update..

My understanding is that those working in the gold sector are exempt from lockdown as it's a vital industry (or something along those lines).. I seem to remember ECR even tweeting about it. Does anyone know the current state of affairs and if this stance has changed at all? Covid has certainly snarled up lab times however.. That is clear, but day to day drilling and operations will hopefully be unaffected.

It’s clear though, that ECR categorically MUST address the market to stop the ‘drip’. They have a lot going for them but this isn’t good enough frankly. At a time when the market needs reassurances. They’ve had plenty of time.

Hypothetically, what price would people be happy with if ECR was bought out?

Although not ideal, it's certainly a possibility so interesting to discuss.

We all want the same thing Melville1 and blowing off steam is fine, particularly if you own it, as you’ve done.

I think the last month has effected most investors in one way or another.

The sentiment has turned very negative and at times toxic, which isn’t helpful, but a natural reaction to events.

ECR have a cracking team, their own drills and massive potential with rich ground. CB and his geos were adamant that the geology was showing multiple mining opportunities, and in CB’s very last podcast he said the company’s market value should be at least treble. ECR isn’t going anywhere, and CB has set it up for success. The current team MUST communicate with shareholders ASAP imo or negativity will spiral and conspiracy theories will sprout (I’ve seen one or two already on Twitter). I am not selling, but equally not adding. I think 2022 will be the year ECR switch from land mapping to value creating.. We need to show support if we can, or respectfully move on.

Ironically, the SP will probably shoot up if there's any inkling of a sale. 1.3p - 4p would be a fantastic return! Unfortunately my b/e sits somewhere in between so not quiet as good for me.

Personally I'd like to see the BOD carry on Craig's legacy and extract the value we know Victoria can offer.. No reason with better luck the momentum can't build.

IF AJ is right, just one of the CW shoots could be worth nearly double the current market cap (yes yes I know extraction costs etc but you get my point!). So get more licenses and prove up a load of shoots and we're in serious business.

And let's not forget, we have a 12 rig international rental business NOBODY has talked about yet.. still baffles me that?!

A few podcasts back AJ was waxing lyrical about $20m shoots and how well the geology is shaping up. There isn’t a thanos snap that will make that disappear overnight is there?!

Well they didn't have any problem releasing the Cherry Tree Assays and they weren't great so I don't think they'd supress for that reason. Lab **** up, Covid delays or NDA surely I reckon.
