I am a non professional trustee of a trust where the income is paid to a life tenant who is the first name and addressee of the holding. She is elderly and does not necessarily read through all corporate correspondence. I was however contacted by our nominee holder to say that we had 2 days to either buy our alotted shares or lose them; we could also sell our rights.
The figures were substantial and even if wanted, funds could not be so easily and quickly obtained.
We did sell the rights and got paid, although on the day of the sale the value reduced by about 30%.
Very poor service to shareholders by the company

No reported reason as to why we are top of the leader board. No sizeable trades. Maybe there are rumours out there, but just as likely to come tumbling down if the rumours turn out to be unfounded

I would have thought this is worth much more than it was at the beginning of August when it was trading at 27.5p
. In June, Cantor Fitzgerald was looking at 75p in the shorter term and looking for £3 "in the near future".
I would like to hear more from its tidal operations in Scotland. A lot of potential there I reckon

I don’t understand why the SP remains under a pound. We are way ahead in terms of rooms availability and,,we hope, in cash flow and profits but the SP has dropped since the summer. Our balance sheet should be healthy which should make future borrowing easier.

I think the Chinese may be playing a long waiting game

As I understand the rules relating to takeovers, a potential buyer cannot bid at a price lower than he has paid over the previous 12 months. So, if they bought at 0.8p ten months ago they would wait another couple of months and be able to bid at 0.010 in the New Year (ours, not theirs).

Extraordinary that after the EGM to alter the Memo of Assoc to permit other types of investment, there hasn't been a squeak about what ideas the BoD might have had

Only about £100k traded yesterday after the profits warning out of a capitalisation of £750m indicates that the LTHs haven't been put off. Disappointing RNS but seems to be a hold for the time being

Note 2 large sells of 750k shares at 12p when bid/offer was 12/16p on 19th and 23rd

Back to high spread of 37.5%. At least someone is making money here.
Bought another 2.5m this morning out of desparation to get the av down to .47p. Hoping for a takeover.
Should be an announcement of changes in directors'/major holders' share holdings.
Eg, if the Chinese bought in again at .01p, their revised holdings will be shown; if they didn't, then their percentages will have changed and this should be shown. Maybe the time to show theses changes will be when the new shares qre admitted to AIM

Little point selling at this price - 0.15p; but with a mkt capitalisation of Stg 3.45m, surely someone would be interested in taking a punt based on the declared assets. A Chinese take over looming? Or awaiting liquidation and picking up the assets from a liquidator?

No mention of profits but a good optimistic and reassuring statement of where we are and what we have achieved. Surprising that there wasn't an uptake in the SP but then yesterday was a bad day in the markets generally

Up 10% in Dublin this morning

We hit a new low for a year today at 81p. Is this due to exchange rates for the pound/rupee? Disappointing but I am still a buyer
