I think it's a pity that they didn't trust the shareholders with a rights issue, but then there would probably have been a larger discount and underwriting costs I think this is a great share for the longer term

Tooold; wouldn't we have an RNS showing changes in substantial shareholdings if the Chinese have been purchasing? It is of concern that the last placings have been at reduced prices and I'd say the Chinese are pretty fed up when they were buying at 1.75

But the 3m bought more cheaply. I would have thought that the 40m buy would have lifted the asking price not lowered it

A great start to the week

I have held shares in CGNR but sold because of all the shenanigans in the autumn. I�m not going back in again for the following reasons:- 1. I feel that there still must be distrust within the BOD and the Conroy faction still holds control 2. Whilst there have been notified discoveries, there doesn�t seem to be any hurry in considering environment impact statements etc 3. We Irish have a history of being belligerent in opposing planning applications - Shell etc, and this time there will be two separate jurisdictions, one of which is Brexiting. I would anticipate a long drawn out planning process and I don�t see an international player wanting to get involved 4. The Prof has charm, but it�s wearing a bit thin at this stage, and he�s not getting any younger 5. Directors� fees are still too high. What are they doing? 6. What�s happening in Finland? I hope it does go well, but I�ll be backing another nag

The only buy shown so far today is for under two quid. A release of some news might help. What, if anything, is happening?

No large trades recorded, nothing over twenty grand�s worth. Under half a million shares traded. Of course we will be monitored, we probably have been anyway . Don�t forget the recent rise in share price; some taking short term gains and some taking fright

Maybe there will be more realistic tender pricing in the future; I hope our margins are realistic. They say that a lot of Carillion's problems were in the Middle East with delays of payments - a different culture there?

Surprisingly little trading from the start this morning; thought there would be a rush. Little or no significant trades....yet

Apologies for breaking into your monologue, unv. I agree that this is a good solid company with a lot of future growth potential. I would be happy to contribute to any future fundraising, if required. Good to see that this is not a company which attracts short term speculators but rather longer term investors. At the end of September, shareholders authorised a change in the objects clause of the Memo of Assoc. The recent issue of shares is for general purposes and debt reduction. When can we expect to hear anything of future investment? Does the BOD have anything in mind? Would we expect another funding round or an issue of shares for a joint venture/acquisition now that the balance sheet looks more respectable?

Why would the new investors pay .08p a share when they could have got them for under .05p in the market? Insider knowledge precluded them maybe? Will be interesting to find out who they are - or will we be told?
