Even if the results of the drilling are positive, actual mining could be years away. As far as I am aware no Environment Impact Survey has been carried out and I would anticipate that any planning application will be met with years of objections and Court cases

With respect, MXL is a UK registered Company and, apart from having a Middle Eastern ‘significant shareholder ‘ who has been given a right to appoint a Director and Chairman, has a BoD which, as far as I am aware, is not influenced by Ramadan! Whilst it may be diplomatic to have the views of the significant shareholder on the Circular, there could be legal reasons as to why he may not be entitled to see it before publication
The Company may however be running into difficulties concerning the time notice requirements

It seems strange that there’s a 26% lift in the share price when all that has happened is that we have a date for the promised EGM

What did our investment cost us?

If we are invested here, aren’t we entitled to know why? Unless I’m mistaken there has been no comment from Stefan or MXO about Superdialectics at all. We gave the Board permission to invest outside our original Memo of Assoc but we have not been told what, if any, investment has been made

My point is that auditors are employed on behalf of the shareholders to ensure that the financial position as reported by the directors is a fair and accurate account. They are paid to undertake this exercise. How is it that they missed this double counting? The auditors of the parent/associate company may be similarly to blame.
We are at least due an explanation. Were bonuses paid on the misreported figures?

It’s interesting to speculate on why one of the richest man in the world has bought a significant share in MXO. Is he interested in acquiring an AIM company and use it to acquire other assets? He doesn’t need it to get access to finance for he has plenty of that. Maybe to use a listed company to acquire other alternative energy producing assets? Remember we have authorized the Company to broaden its investment strategy, so we are not restricted to oil and gas exploration. Just wondering because it does seem strange

Will anybody going to the AGM ask what the Company is doing about the catastrophic misreported invoices? Has the Company taken issue with its auditors who had previously stated that the accounts were a true and accurate report of the Company’s financial position?

On the 18th April we were told that the BOD was preparing Resolutions to be put to the shareholders re change of name and share consolidation

Both Crusty and Drewky are the exceptions on this Board; they may not be right, but they do make informed comments ; they’re the reasons I have stayed with AEX over the past while. I’m down but not out.

It’s always going to be difficult when dealing with a relatively new country and competing with other less scrupulous potential investors. It’s taking longer than we had originally hoped for but it could still pay off in the end. I’m not increasing my holding at the moment but may do so on some positive news on the licence grant

The NAV has fallen about 7% in a month
Hopefully things will get better after the election, but it’s disappointing at the moment
