Tuesday the 12th trades show less than 1% shares traded spooked the market and SP falls by over 14%. Anyone have an idea why? The glorious twelfth? I don’t think so

Are you saying that the takeover may not be a takeover in its true sense? That Bidco will not necessarily have a compulsory purchase of all the shares but will be content in having , say, 60%? That would mean I could still retain my existing shareholding and the Company would still be listed? That scenario would be good news for me as I believe, even with Brexit chaos, the Company has a strong future

Dan, I’m not sure that your SP prices are correct. Certainly, there was a jump after the
Sheik bought in, but I seem to recall that, whilst it more than doubled, I don’t think it rose by a multiple of 8 to 10 times. Likewise I think the current price is much the same as was prior to his investment

Would some professional investor who has the time and expertise please draw a graph comparing the Company’s NAV with the Mumbai index of the top 100 shares. Especially considering the weakness of sterling the Company’s investments have not been a success

It’s not good enough to have a one liner in the RNS that the money hasn’t arrived in the Company account and the backstop ( how I hate that word!) has been extended. If I had been promised a payment into my account and was presented with evidence that it had left the transferor’s account six weeks ago, I’d be screaming at the transferor’s bank demanding a full explanation.
If there are clearance problems, spell them out

Personally,I’m disappointed as I had bought in at 94p and considered this a long term investment and I still think this is a great company with huge potential. I considered that the sp over the last while greatly undervalued the company
I note that Jonathan Lane, a Director, will be at a loss on his share purchases so he mustn’t be too pleased
In short, I would have hoped for an option to convert my shares into Bidco
I wouldn’t bet on a higher offer unless it came from Stavropol himself

I have a small thing with which I’d take issue concerning the AGM RNS. Many companies give a breakdown of the votes cast for, and against each resolution and we never got the breakdown from the EGM votes where some of the Resolutions were defeated
I’m a holder here having invested too much when we were exploring further afield
Patience certainly is required and I think I should stop looking at this board for the time being

So, nobody who posts on this board bothered to attend the AGM? I’ll view their future comments with this in mind

As far as I am aware, HSBC’s only consideration is whether the transaction is a legitimate transaction and is in compliance with financial regulations The delay is of some concern and it would be interesting if the Board could divulge the reason for the delay. Whilst interest rates are miniscule at the moment, it seems that HSBC has been holding on to ten million for the last few weeks

Quite agree. Lots of posters here with different views, but which of them can be arsed to go to the AGM? I can’t as I’m in New Zealand So much can be gleaned from seeing and talking to members of the Board. Okay, a Director can’t divulge insider information, but one can get a taste of confidence or gloom, as the case may be
