Apart from a short run peak at the end of October we are at the highest sp since August Is there a reason? Environment conscience?
I'm not complaining but I hope this is a start to recovery and improvement

Thank you, Jonah, for the link to Phronimos. A good, well argued and put together letter, but I wonder if and how AIM will respond. I'm sure the Datuk won't. I'm never quite sure how seriously AIM police their members - I've been stung before but regrettably didn't learn't my lesson. I think we should all back Phronimos. My shares are held through my brokers so I'm not sure how i'd go about that. I don't have a million shares, only about 50,000 but they have cost me a fair bit with an average buy in at about 20p

The admission of the GCM consideration shares has been delayed. Why? Further information to be given in due course. Judging by the history of the Company in keeping shareholders informed, I would not be surprised if this could be some time coming

I think that if it is an adjourned meeting only those entitled to vote at the original meeting would be entitled to vote at the adjourned meeting. The original meeting was adjourned to consider the validity of the votes cast. It is unclear who raised the question of the votes; was it the Datuk because he didn’t get enough votes or was it another shareholder who claimed some votes in his favour were suspect ?

This morning’s spread is quoted at 33%; bid 3.00, ask 3.56. Estimated NAV was 13 at year end yet some holders are prepared to sell at 3.56 while others hope to get a bargain

The SP this morning shows a fall in NAV of c4% (a very large fall), yet the SP increases by c!%

I don't know what the fall in the NAV reflects. Coronavirus probably, but surely a delayed reaction

Theoretically and based on the current information, the SP should be on the rise, but there doesn't seem to be much of an appetite to purchase at these levels. Without the daily c80,000 own share purchase no-one else is buying in, not today anyway

So the buy back of its own shares exercise has now finished.

McAdder, if you are being pedantic about the missing 'u' in 'continues', maybe you should delete the apostrophe in 'inverstor's'!
As others here have suggested, these shares go back into my bottom drawer, probably for a year or two more Not worth selling at this level having lost over 90% of value

Interesting that Tang not re-elected on the first vote. No doubt there will now be scrutiny of the proxy votes to see if there are irregularities in their submission, eg checking signatures, the countersigning of a company seal etc

Lets liquidate

I take your point, Fallingknife, but our holdings in our invested companies are a very small proportion of the shares in each company, so we should be able to sell at very close to the market price should we choose to liquidate. At the moment we appear to be depreciating the value of each investment by over 20%on purchase. Like you I got in here at over a pound so am down 25%

At the current bid price of 73.6p against a NAV estimate of 93.08, this represents a discount of over 25% by mt inexpert calculations. Why?

It says a lot about the Board and the confidence of the shareholders that some are selling ar 3.54p when the NAV is estimated at 13p per share
