Without the consistent purchases of c80,000 shares at a cost of 25k on a daily basis, there doesn’t seem to be many other buyers around

Anyone in the Malaysian/Singapore area intending to go to the AGM ?
Would Phronimus be prepared to attend as proxy?

Don't forget that the share price has doubled over the last three months so it would be no surprise if those who bought in then would now be taking some profit. They may regret this selling later, but you don't lose by taking a profit; you may not gain as much as you might have if you had kept all those shares

Why don’t we simply put the Company into liquidation, sell the assets and distribute the proceeds to shareholders?. Even if we don’t realize the estimated 13p per share, we’ll at least stop paying the Board for whatever they say they do

If you look at the broker recommendations, most are over 2700 , so there should be another fiver in it or 20%

Final results should be due around this weekend but, true to form, no date given yet by our Directors. AGM in January. I hope some shareholders will attend or organize a proxy to ask questions

No change to the bid/offer prices this morning after the announcement of TO’R resignation. Like the rest of us he has lost heavily on his shareholding, but unlike the rest of us he has drawn considerable amounts of compensation over the years. Not sad to see him go; maybe an opportunity for some body to take over, albeit at a vast loss to longer term holders

A good rise over the last few days

Each of today’s RNS is good news, but why publish them on the same day ? Halloween, Do or Die Brexit date and first day of election campaigns. Maybe to give us something else to think about

Sellers may have bought at under 5p so could be making a profit
For me to make a profit they have to go up to 30p but I'm still hopeful. Shares for the bottom drawer

I am a holder of shares in Provience Resources which had been promised a loan by a Chinese investor of some ten million. That loan was due to be in Providence's bank account sometime In July but was delayed. Despite assurances that the money had left their account and was received by HSBC and despite Providence extending the time limits , by the end of September the cash had not arrived and the exclusive negotiations were called off. No reason was given to the shareholders why the funds were not released by HSBC. Providence is a fully listed Company on the SE

Are the warrants tradeable? Ie can I purchase some? I

Do you think that this presages an early licence approval?

Do we have an attending delegate?

It's certainly taking time to find suitable investments. It was about 3 years ago that we authorised a change in the Memo of Assoc to permit such outside investments, but we haven't been told of any actually made. The feeling at that time was that we were ready to make at least one investment.
The new CEO may have some ideas, although probably only in the oil industry
I wonder if we'll ever find out what the Sheik was about?
We should be cash generating if the oil uplifts have been going according to plan, although we are not being kept informed

It seems that the purchase of 15,000 shares by the Chair is responsible for the 6% rise in today's SP?
Would a few more Board members please show their confidence by buying shares

The 1 pm RNS shows that Peel Hunt has REDUCED its shareholding; that's discouraging

Today the bid price is 2.52 and the ask is 3.10
Depressing

And don't forget the Chinese still have a c30% holding
None of the 3 large shareholders (counting the Chinese as 1) seems keen to tell us why they're here. The Chinese are, i think, sitting on large losses and Peel Hunt are still accumulating, which must be good news
Strange that the Sheik should invest here, become honorary Chairman, change the name of the Company, give an interview declaring his intention to make this a one billion company and then disappear
