We know from this chat board that there has been no conclusive response, but should there not be a formal statement to the Market.? I wonder what the “independent “ directors think about their responsibilities

Don’t forget that on first May last year the share price was 0.6, ie five times the current mid-market price now. Okay there maybe need for some adjustment with the placings etc, but we’ve still a long way to go

All profits are effectively being capitalized in to new builds which will generate more profits in the coming years
Okay there will be some additional borrowing, but then some hotels are built on a franchise basis

Some of us bought shares on the consideration of the audited accounts..Seems the auditors could be open to an action for negligence?
There is potential here, but we have to be able to rely on statutory accounts. Would senior employees not have known of this ‘error’? Or was it contrived? Until we know the facts, the Company and it’s Directors remain under suspicion

If we shareholders can give the requested information and confirmation to Phronimos it will at least put some pressure on Tang and wake up his board of directors. Are they independent? I doubt it, but there are potential consequences for them if they simply follow the Overpaid Chairman without considering the interests of the shareholders

Why not a members voluntary winding up and distribution of assets in specie to shareholders.? Would eliminate Tang’s exorbitant remuneration package

It would be encouraging to see some directors buying some shares. If it’s a closed period now, after the results in a few weeks time should give them an opportunity. Hopefully they won’t get another chance at this price
