If you refer to wholesale prices being generally 50% of retail prices, then the profit or margin Wholesale to retail is actually 100%, and they will still be making a profit margin on the wholesale price too!

Please explain (to a financial simpleton like me) why the bond holders would want to short (unless as a hedge) or be happy with low sp? When they convert to shares in 2020 I assume that will be at stated price of 32p plus 25% or is it the market rate at the time?

Move to the main market will bring a host new investors into play, pension funds, institutions, fund managers, the full range. That in itself doesn’t guarantee success only the fundamentals will out. However these funds that are not allowed to invest in AIM are the only source of a new “wall of money” that can move the sp to new heights given more derisking n good news.
I think Hur need a decent share price (say £1+) in order not only to protect against a hostile cheap takeover, but also to provide credibility to finance houses/banks that they may need if they “go it alone”. They need to achieve this by mid 2020. Imho

ED generating £60k/mth with little management input required ......we should keep that as a backstop to cover overheads, unless we receive an offer we can’t refuse (that’s well over 50%).

I believe that serious new money will only come not only when more proof is forthcoming , but more particularly when we are on the main market!
There are many fund managers who are not allowed to invest in AIM by their internal company rules, considered to be too risky.
Hur current plan seems to be to move to the main market 2H20, hopefully they might accelerate this?

Sure Trice wants to prove a point, but what/when would that be I wonder? Is it selling the whole lot for £10bn in year or so, or sweating through lots of drilling and two FFD’s through to production in 4-5 yrs time!? I think he wants out, he is not a production man, but equally he will not sell it cheaply......so my guess would be when he has a great offer or after drilling next year. Any farm in would be similar to the Spirit deal where HUR stays as operator until FID and then hands over Operator to the new boys!?
My question with a farm in, is that if it is similar to Spirit and the further drilling is a free carry from say end 2020 and 50% costs of FFD thereafter in exchange for 50% equity in GLA, THEN how is the sp impacted?

The reason this share is stuck/drifting down is that the only investors that buying/selling are pi’s looking for a fast buck and there is not much news due til WW in 60+ days time.
LTH’s are holding and fly by nights are flitting in n out, major new investors are holding back til more derisking done and also many cannot invest cos its AIM! So we end up in the doldrums/down until WW result and more particularly the CMD in January.
The BOD should update and advise their plans to move to the main market in January unless they are hoping for buyout/farm in by mid next year. They will need the stability and hopefully realistic sp of the main market in order to go it alone on FFD for both GLA and GWA (finance needed in 2021)cos they may well need a mega bank loan in addition to the production revenue!?

Another take on the brokers note is that as the current sp prediction of £1.35 is based on the NPV of each of the assets at 10% discount rate, Is THEN my deduction is that the overall asset value or overall NPV should therefore increase for every year that passes by 10% apart from any derisking due to added knowledge!

Yes it’s not clear why there are so many different values of NPV per barrel!
I think it is that they have taken the time value into account, that is the likely program and when production/ cash is realised and then discounted it back to today, to get a current value. These values will increase as time passes and become closer to say $ 30/ bbl as each asset goes into production. So yes, if you wait 3-5 years and not only assets are derisked but also NPV improves as closer to cash generation for each asset!?
