In my post last Saturday Evening headlined "The Italian" I attempted to explain about the GNA move. I suggested that VRS would have a 60% stake (Today it is said to be 62%) and shares in VRS would pay the remanider.It is, of course, a bit more complicated than that ! However, they have by this agreement now established a Manufacturing Base within EURO and should, therefore, not be cut off from R & D and commercial developments over there. TRYING TO PICK UP SOME SORT OF CONSENSUS:- Many think that an other company will come along and buy CNA for 300p Others think Corbyn is just as daft and will offer 300p. A concern I have had for some time. Why do NHS not obtain at least a trial number of units and try them out, say, in there favourite London hospiatals ?? Surely, the initial costs of the units, training of staff, close proximity to government, Mayor of London, etc would be advantageous in driving up usage of what seems to lay people like me a most simple, sturdy, system which could benefit patients and hospitals continuously. --- Yours, Max.

If you read the RNS, it simply tells us that if the negotiations are successful, they will pay GN some cash or share equivalent in exchange for a majority holding in GN. If this happened they may agree on perhaps a 60% majority share for VRS. It may also contain a clause which allows VRS to bid for the remaining shares of GN at some future point, if they so wish. OK so far ? So, in numbers that could be -- VRS hold 60% (or what ever % was agreed) and GN hold 40% (or what is left). Obviously the GN BOD must agree and perhaps so must other shareholders. I don't know whether or not, the Spanish government have an interest here, but I am assuming that has been cleared already. To obtain a majority interest may take more than the fundraising of yesterday, but we will see sometime. I think VRS have gone for the "Long Shot" by trying to make sure they will have a manufacturing base in EURO, replacing or extending the Pilot plant to full size for commercial production. Tried to purchase a few more shares last night, sent an email to the Help desk about 10.30 saying it seemed inaccessable, received an answer this A.M. from Dave at PB saying it had closed at 7.22 pm. Obviously some institutions and a few PIs were on the ball early, SOOOOO ---missed it How many PIs missed it ?
Able thanks for your illustration today, on reading the RNS agin I don't understand a certain symbol shown like a bent bracket, is it a Spanish language symbol ? I was wondering if anyone was going to pick up on my point about Forest Fires. When I was a member of our local Parish Counci (the smallest of local government bodies, I believe Weston Super Mare is the largest in the country and has nothing to do with churches) l organised visits to our local fire station for our three Primary Schools. The children received instruction about the dangers of grass fires, seemingly worse than house fires. Scale that up and you have forest fires, devastating as they were in Southern Alberta in 2016. Fortunately, the Metei people live in the North and escaped some of the consequenses. They often occur in their warm summer climate. All the more reason then that governments should want to reduce the possibilty and remove forest waste. Consider for one moment what you might decide, as a Governor, if some company comes along and proposes to remove the waste and make some thing useful out of it. You are going to hum and haw and look after the ponys instead, according to Dr Maccers sarcastic note recently, with which I fully agreed. --- Yours, Max.

Thank you for your link given with your late Sunday post, which conneceted us to the statement by the EURO Commission regarding an exemption. The new Point 39(a) gives details and also confirms that this, the ONLY exemption and will expire two years on after publication which was 31st Octotber 2017. All member states were required to comply within a twelve month period and one day. --- ROH seems to be Finished next October, unless people know better. --- Yours, Max.
