I will try to download some comments I found about the Royal Mail Group (RMG). Here goes.

In regard to madasaballon's link: yes indeed it certainly make for very unhappy reading; although on the plus side of things it does mean more shares for me through the employees share plan scheme...tax free and devoid of any noticeable broker fees of course. Oh, and not forgetting the extra 120 free shares -- all rather nice!
Need to somewhat readjust my outlook from "long term" to "longer term"...but what the heck...I can afford to wait. Unlike others, and not mentioning any chief rampers up to their ears in borrowing, I am in no rush to cash them in.
On a brighter note: just put a great big X into the "YES" box; I have no particular appetite for a fight with RMG...but the bigger the "YES" vote the more chance of imposing upon them an urgency, one fervently hopes, for serious and determined negotiations at the very highest executive level.
I confess I don't hold out much chance of that now. Common sense, it seems, has now been replaced by illusive double-talk and deceitful innuendo...all of it coming from the company I might well add.

Which director bought? And how many? And when?04 Mar 2020 14:33
And what on earth is being implied here? I cannot see any recent "Directors Deals" being executed...or is someone on here referring to "free" director shares?

Still talking the price up, Fruitster, I see...and still refusing to acknowledge the impact of impending industrial action. What a strange chap you truly are.
Well , today is the day: the day the strike ballot papers start landing in thousands of hallways that is. This is going to be a fast "turnaround"; in two weeks time we will all get to know the result...but there again we already know the result don't we.
Hovering around the "all time low"? That's a laugh! :) There will be a "new" all time low sometime very soon if there is no resolution to what seems to be, at present time, a complete impasse.
Is that surprising ?? ----- Yours, MaX.
Scampi, your messages are as worn out as the original Conservative Parties call to arms during WW1. I hear a rumour on the grapevine, that a wide spread srike is imminent in a major company who seem to think they are about to give us all a dose of the virus by pushing you little deadly packages through out letter boxes. Will you be able to justify your actions i court if they cause an outburst of the disease in tight knit communities. Better get yourselves some high personal insurance cover to protect you and your families. ---- Yours, wonderingly, Max.
7th Jan 2020 it was announced that SAPIENZA had signed for an extension to cover the next three years using SAPs software suite (Please add name here) following ten years of use so far. Any comments on this development and the need for £7.0M finance from HSBC? ----- Yours, Max.
Tricky !! -- Splendid notes from you. OH, I thought you meant Poxy, perhaps you did. I am still trying to identify who you mean by "Joe Blogs". Perhaps you mean Gordon Brown ?? He didn't bail them all did he, Barclays ran to the Middle East and got finance there. I believe they had some trouble over that recently. Can you remember when that financial crisis began ?? If I recall correctly it began with terrible mortgage scandles in the USA. some "LENDERS" !!!! would practically call people from the street and offer them a mortgage, and so began one the biggest fraud systems on earth. Sherriffs of small towns would gather a small growd at the entrance of the Town Hall and auction off houses almost as people were still living there but not paying for them. I think Bloomberg, free at the time, would show maps where houses were being sold and flagged them up. Later, the fjnance companies made up packages of the "mortgages" and sold them to finance companies in the uk. These later became known as "Toxic" packages. How gullible were the management teams of that time. Perhaps lessons have beeen learned ?? ----- Yours, Max.
Caught me out on this change. However still fallen a long way due probably to th e virus. ----- Yours, Max.
Thank you for your cheerful messages! I have recently tried to assess my individual longevity, but with no clear conclusions.
Having now had three years to miss my lifel;ong loving companion, we were married in Februiary 1952, She was inflicted with Alheimers disease, my immediate family have been very helpful and challenging, as have friends like you and some others on these boards. This very latest decline in shares, generally, can be attributed to the Virus attack, I believe. It would seem, however, that some individuals may have been somewhat thoughless about their movements, sad to say. I asked my son how the Emperor Penguins on the outside of their circle at the south Pole will fare when they try to move inside and are told "Self-Isolate, you intruder" !!
The so called emergency meeting of Cobra had to wait until the Newnie Prime Mininster was good and ready !!
Has the crisis passed ? I knew it would, Houray for UK Democracy. ----- Yours, Max.
JD: A financial report from New York on Friday quotes the the following :-
"Constellation Brands makes a beer called Corona. The sales for last week (when many shares fell sharply) actually rose 5%" SOOO don't necessarily believe the papers. ----- Yours, Max.
Have just looked at Kitco.co.uk and they show gold price for Thurs 27th AM and PM
The figures indicat a slight rise on the two times, both over $1600. ----- Yours Max.
When I buy or sell shares, only through Hargreaves and Lansdown, a noble company, I expect the price involved to be somewhat close to the closing price of the previous day. There would be no possibility of me persuading the sharebrokers at the firm to manipulate the price in my favour, and RIGHTLY SO. So how can "City Gits" accoomodate their mates ?? That would seem to be insider trading which I understand is frownd upon in certain circles. By the way how can certain correspondents on here get information not available to me or others by RNS ?? I would not pay one penny to bypass official news systems, though I'm not suggesting any one does. ------ Yours, Max.
If I may say colleagues, brokers tend to be optomistic in suggesting new horizons, quite a few shareholders tend to be pessimistic and sell at least some of their shares in even in good, well managed companies like this one. I think the two aquisitions of late will start to show their value during this year.----- Yours, Max.
Lucky O, Able and Robin. You seem to have overlooked the events in Parliament !!!
(1) The members of the tory party overwhelmingly chose Mr Johnson to be OUR new Prime Minister.
(2) MKr Johnson prorogued Parliament, which the UK Supreme Court declared to be illegal.
(3) Mr Johnson called for a General Election, December12th 2019.
(4) The new tory govermnet won a lanslide victory and pursued t he PMs objective to "Get Brexit Done".
(5) Outside of Parliament many, many companies warned against leaving EURO
(6) Outside of Parliament Trump promised to help the PM to leave EURO
(7) Outside of Parliament other countries, including China, saw what was happening and closed ranks agianst us.
(8) BACK in Parliament the PM seems to be conspicuous by his absence.
(9) NET RESULT. Country unmanaged and companies curtailing their investment programs. ----- Yours, Max.
Since the arches were built on the facilities of Rail Network, with the intention to demonstrate, if possible, the advantages to be gained in their use, I would have thought that the Network would be the people ordering the supply, if any, to be used in the UK. As the government has re-affirmed recently that H2 will go ahead, the arches would seem to be a very good way of improving facilities AND at reduced costs and quicker construction times. The Lead person on the project would appear to be key in furthering the development of what is a brand new approach to building a modern, state of the art rail sytem. ----- Yours, Max.
Hello Everyone. That's me talking like our recently appointed BBC Weather Forezaster up here who is nice to listen to. He is a Welsh man, named Owain, with a Delightful lilt in his voice. A recent phrase I came across that some of our colleagues should pay attention to, says
"Asset Strippmg Share Chats Harm Potential Fundraising". Companies obviously need to raise funds to keep ahead of their efforts in Research and Development. Customers, regular or potential, wil want to know they are being offered the latest type of products when discussing possible contracts. So, please affirm or "accentuate the positives" ( that has been sung over the airwaves for years) but is still good advice. ----- Yours, Max.
Dear Able, Rubbish is usually binned if possible or used for Fly-Tipping by some. I almost witnessed this once, as a member of our local Parish Council (Billinge Near Wigan) Three of us arranged to meet at the gate of a path which led on to the local hill. Whilst there, a van zoomed round a corner of the road and then made an emergency stop, reveresed and shot off before we could get his number plate. Turns out it was a favourite spot to get rid of unwanted kitchen cupboards etc., by local handymen renewing (??) Kitchens !! Referring to your instinctive moves you planned to move into Gold at a Junior level, probably, I would guess, with a Canadian firm. They are still ewxporing and finding gold in North America even in some so-called worked out places like the Yukon. Keep your instinct lively!! ----- Yours Max.
No, Not the END. Go back to sleep Jemmolly. You appear on this board and simply say in unusual English Format...
"So this the End". What country are you from , may I ask.
I am somewhat surprised no one picked up on what I said about FCA and a named shareholder. It seems as though FCA is just a set of initials, except for warning posters to be careful in what they say. ----- Yours, Max.
The RNS today can in no way be thought to cast doubt upon the companies actions in the subject matter reported. In my view the company has behaved impeccably and reported to the approprate authorities and its shareholders.
I believe shareholders should show their appreciation of the companies actions and reporting of the matter. In all fairness, the FCA should approach The shareholder named and ask what caused the delay in reporting the changes he made, and ascertain if such a delay caused any financial, business or political damage to the company. If the FCA were to find that the named shareholder was at fault or dilatory in his notification to the company rhen warn him about any further neglect of his obligations in similar matters may lead to sanctions against him ----- Yours, Max.
Weave, Have you read their statement of what they are about ? Correct me if I'm wrong but they say they faciilitate the integration of graphene into composites, etc. not that they make graphene. ----- Yours, Max.
As one sheet metal worker to another but frm different hemisphers, mine was Manchester, Howdie !!. I was once called a "weak metal shirker" by a welder !! The cheek of it. He said if it wasn't for us welders all your bits would stay as bits,I said if it wasn't for us there wouldn't be any bits !! Time marches on and typing does't get any easier, one's thoughts run far ahead and you need to stop and proof read, to see if your making sense. I recwntly put some garbage on another board and had to apologise profusely !! I always look forward to your comments we have exchanged quite a few !! The mess I made was on SRT which I have just joined, seem they have a great deal of worh ahead of them, and so wide ranging in scope. They have just renewed a system for the Panama Canal Domain. ----- Yours, cordingly and thankful for your friendship, Max.
Trying to make up for previous mess, for which I do apologise.
July 8) — The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) said Monday it will begin installing trackers on big commercial fishing vessels by year-end for real-time monitoring of fishing activities in Philippine waters.
There are 5,000 BIG vessels. What astonished me is they have about 300,000 smaller fishing vessels they
wish to fit with trackers. They expect the project to take four years.
I typed www.srt-marine.com and found this article, thanks to Truro Trader. Cheers !! ----- Yours, Max.
Dear Lucky O. How about naming the person who is causing some problems. I told a bloke called Jimmy 1305 to "Get Out of Here" when he wanted folk to think VRS was another SXX, where he apparently had £12K invested to his sorrow. ----- Yours, Max.
