Thank you nomlungo- had a quick read and this isn't surprising as COVID 2 has been around since 2008 or so and is basically SARS.

My understanding is that SARS has a higher mortality rate than COVID 19, but COViD 19 is more infectious.

So, I read somewhere that SARS Covid2 has upto about a 10% mortality, where Covid 19, has upto a 3%

So, as stated, this could be very interesting on several fronts!

As much as it would be exciting to learn if Val201 is effective against Covid 2, not much has been mentioned about the exciting fact that VAL201 has anti-Viral properties.

It might or might not be deemed as effective against Covid 2, but what is exciting is that it might be looked at to treat other viral infections at some point.

If it's effective against one or more of the Covid family of viruses, would be fantastic, but they re not the only family of predatorial viruses that present a threat to humans!

This is definitely a big step for a little minnow company and is certainly another chance at one of the company's drugs finding success.

As stated have been in VAL on several occasions over the last four years.

For the share price you need one or a combination of:
- sentiment
- revenue
- new investors/shareholders
Or LTH's with deep pockets to buy buy buy!

I've been in VAL off and on for the last few years!
Last time I was here was last year and when did ok when it went up. Where I sold. I was positive, but back then it seemed that alot wasn't right and walked away because there was something.
True enough there was another placing and that just killed the business.
Let's be honest, as much as I am positive about investments I make, I am not a mug and if something doesn't smell right or the BOD don't seem to be on shareholders side, then you have to leave it! Same with food, if it smells off, it most likely is and is toxic, so leave it!
I'm currently not in ALGW and again, they've gone from 30m shares to over 150m shares and no beans to show for it. As well, in my experience, I found a small group that played all the other investors.
It goes up to about 2pish -2.5p and then races back down! And it's some people who say they have the scoup and blah blah blah.
I used to buy houses and I could make a phone call and get u to £500k in my bank account within. Couple of hours for cash buys and then remortgage them later on to pay back the facility.

So, if that's little old me, why is it that big wiggs from the city can't get a hold of $10m-$20m?

I could be wrong but maybe another placing over there or a pump rinse and repeat. For the sake of a few people I know over there, I hope it is positive for them.

However, contrast your ALGW's, AST's... And then look at what we have here. VAL has four lines of viable drugs (not just one or two supposed silver bullets), look at the new management team, look at the shareholder call to action, look at the material transfer agreement, look at the transparency here and you get a very different vibe!

That Vibe and shareholder community, that saved the business and is turning it well around will be the difference that to me spells success. And all we need is one of the four to get snapped up and that will make a huge positive impact for everyone here.

I might feel differently in a few months based on what ever facts are on the table at the time, but DYOR and I think you will agree!

It would be a good token if they could afford to put some serious skin in the game,.but I don't see this as a priority at the moment and feel that if they invested say, less than £10k it would hurt rather than help!.
At this point imo she should continue the transparency, keep shareholders in the loop (where reasonable), develop a winning strategy and push these drugs forward.
The rest will take care of itself in regards to share price

Dibs, money won't be an issue. The share price will soon be over ¹3p and warrants can be sorted at 15p and that will keep it going until some royalties .

Either way as anything there are risks, but they have been very much mitigated here and am happy to hold.

We have all been bitten. However, the reason why there is a new BOD is because for the first time (that I've seen on AIM personally), the shareholders took action and made the change happen and if more investors got organized and held more BOD's to account (and I don't mean kicking off at an AGM).

How many times have we seen investors being led down the golden path to the abattoir.

Things are different here and now! The group of shareholders brought about the changes needed to not only save the company, assets and help install a BOD that is not only experienced, well respected but also aligned with shareholders.

Dr. D from what I have heard, seen and researched has a good reputation and this is a huge opportunity for her personally as well Nd we already see the change and transparency of her management style.

This is what I see, so far and she now has the line of drugs and interest to take this forward. I am heavily invested and I really think it can do extremely well or wouldn't have risked it!

Looking at my watch list mostly red or evens, so the fact that we are Blue with the slow day it's been is encouraging as only small trades today and it looks like everyone is holding on to their wedge of #VAL shares and know what's going to happen here! GLA!

You know why people loose money in the stock market ND I have been guilty of it in the past while learning.
People look at an RNs that comes out at 7am ND it's , "oh, this company got good news, I'll jump on that at 8am*.

8AM rolls around and the doors open and the share is 20% up and people scramble to get in on poxy news. So, by the time people get in it's gone up 30-40% from previous day where it had gone up 20% over previous week weeks waiting for this news.

So, by the time the punter gets in everyone who was sitting patiently for the previous few months has more than bagged and is looking to too slice and pull profit out. What happens then is that the price starts to go down just after the punter rushed in and is left holding the dirty toilet paper.

So, lesson here grasshoppers, the crunchiest leaves are those you wait for and let blossom!.
VAL is going to blossom a beautiful money garden and we can not hurry or force the money peddles!

Yeah, I've learnt from experience. My father always said, never do business with friends or family , because it always turns to ****.
Lucky they are nervous and didn't do anything. 70% of people lose money and as you said, it would come back on you!

Oldbaldy! I topped up just under £10k on Friday. So, that plus my main holding is enough!

I have a nice wedge in this altogether and it's because this has a good chance imo of doing very very well!

I used to trade it because I could see that the old BOD was up to no good.

As I always say, I am positive in my investments and when I loose faith or trust I sell. The best example I always us is AST.

Anyway, I have to ask permission at work to buy or sell and that's a pain in the side. So am happy to sit on my shares and know this will grow, the mcap for a pharma with four viable drugs in various stages of development with interested parties. Well, I bought and think it will allow me to significantly subsidize a better standard of living! GL

Something is happening and think someone might be loading up in the background.
As mentioned earlier, I tried getting live quotes for various amounts and was able to sell upto 70k instantly!
I initially tried for much higher, but then started dropping the quotes by 10k until I got a live quote.

So, if mm's were willing to take 70k when it seemed that people were selling suggests that the drop was orchestrated to get cheap shares for a Mr/Mrs Big from panicky Pi's.

The risk people take is that if the price drops, they won't be the only ones who would want back in and I've seen it before all to often, where MM's lock Pi's out!

Just remember there is appetite especially at lower prices or in moments of price weakness!

Nothing goes up in a straight line! Not even a rocket!
The drugs remain, the interested parties are there, the only thing that has changed here is that we now have a bod that is aligned with shareholders!

This is weird I can sell up 70k - no questions asked.
If I get a quote for 60k it still offers 7.675. so, is someone losing up on background?
If I try to get a quote for more than 75k it won't quote

Once we get to 10p, I think it will start getting on people's radar's and will put a toe in.

Skafen- they are a spread betting service provider. The way I understand it is, you can buy or rent or loan shares you don't physically have. So, they need to have the asset (shares) if the want to offer the option to spreadbets on it.
Could be wrong but the shares don't actually move, they are the asset to legally back the bet.

I understand it to be a hedge and they need the shares to back a spreadbet, but don't actually go anywhere! So, they are sticky and now there is a much smaller free float
