GS, L&G currently receive (significantly) larger fees from DB Schemes than DC, so not necessarily a certain positive...

...this morning given it's XD. Q1 results likely to be early Sept which will hopefully provide further fillip.

...with all the posts here. can't see why some weakness in one business (which doesn't look structural, but cyclical) should pull down a stock with these overall results at this valuation, and on this yield. Every so often, some temporary (perceived) bad news by the market creates a buying opportunity in a quality stock - IMV, that is what we're seeing today in L&G. if it goes below �2 later this week, I'll be buying more. GLA.

Just added more again at 204.5 - this has to be one of the most bizarre responses to a good set of figures I've seen, and I've been doing it for more years than I care to mention. I'd be very interested to know if anyone has caught onto anything which might explain this?

...finally trimmed my holding this morning at 343p - very happy with my profits here. Reinvest proceeds in L&G - (off topic I know, but cracking set of figs this morning, but stock's down 5%!)

Yep, he'll have contributed for sure. Slater as well no doubt. A real show of confidence from these investors although I thought that about the last placing as well!

GS, I like the share as much as the next man (more actually) but 100% of your pension in one stock? Not sure that's a great idea... You've heard of .diversification right....? ;))

...the stock was happily trading near 50p when the st Ives profit warning pulled it back to the mid-30s over a period of weeks. These figures show that the St Ives issue does not affect CMS, and in fact, business is good with new wins. In addition, the rate cut today will boost revenues as all banks write to their tracker mortgage customers which will boost revenue. Single digit PE and high single digit yield, good growth, currency tailwinds and reiteration of forecasts. This stock is now 50% undervalued in my view and I expect strong appreciation over the rest of the year. Buy.

Great set of interims! Will the market finally give this stock the credit it deserves? Interest rate cut on the way as well I expect ......

Weight of buying is relevant, but this will be reflected by share price JS. 'buys' and 'sells' on this board are simply 'guesses' and hence do not give you any information in this regard IMV.
