If there is some scheme in the works that involved a name change would that need approval...

Or for a real conspiracy, suppose the Board wants to 'approve' a bid at say 30p to get the bidding war started but NM was opposed to anything like that and the wanted him voted off as a Director ASAP...?

SOLG opened at 18 and traded up to 20 on the biggest volume for 2 months and the 6th highest in a year closing with 11 trades of 20c between 50k and 190,000...

Closed at 20 which is 11.2 equivalent so watch out tomorrow...

BHP might but the SOLG Board wouldn't...

And yes the SP was 19.2p before the offer but it rebounded to 19.46 in the next few days so you needn't have lost anything...

And Peel Hunt was JOINT broker to the issue with Zeus Capital and RBC Capital Markets.

You post some useful stuff mate but don't sound off just because you're losing money and don't actively manage your holding as I do...bought some at 15, sold in the 17s and delighted to be back in at 9.9592...

Actually only a couple of months...In March 2023 they published a target of 193p...

Looks like at least 44% is held by PIs...
