I have no idea BT...its puzzling...an offer that varies in size from 59k to 71k and ratchets up and down with the quote, always 0.15 or 0.2 above the Quote.

It never gets down to the quote...in my days we would have called it a spoof...requires steady observation and makes you look like a seller but you never quite get there...I used it to hoover up stock on the other side...

However, blockers in size at 37, 38, 39 and then nothing all the way to 55, where, intriguingly, somebody has put in a sell order at 55p at 0.500 this morning...could be Novice...?

Somebody's spoofing again...an 'offer' which was 57/59k...now 61k..at .15 above the quote, gets moved up every time the quote moves up...let's see if it disappears like Friday...

However, the revised approach is to enter half way down the ore...extract the best by block caving while open cast mining at the surface...

15 year plan..cheaper, quicker, better, earlier payback...somebody else can worry about block caving the other half in 15 years time...

Meanwhile the cashflow generated can finance the development of the 'string of pearls'

That may be true but I've also built up a holding of c1.3m and I did it piecemeal...

You assume because you haven't seen any 'big' chunks that there was no institutional buying before 27 April...

Of course the placing followed institutional interest but I suspect part of the reason why was simply because they couldn't get enough stock in the marker.

Let me repeat...if an institution has a large order that can't be filled straight away, they are REQUIRED to give the MM the whole deal and leave the latter to fill it as soon as they can, subject t to a limit price...

People have moaned about the price being held down for a month and a half rom mid February...

And the SP rose steadily from March 25 (when I bought my last c200k at c20.4) to April 16...2 weeks BEFORE the cashbox...

86.5 million was bought in 15 trading days between 31 March and 22 April as the SP rose..who do you think bought those...small private investors...?
