RE: Solgs future8 Jun 2021 11:14
Took the words from my mouth schlemiel...
Has anyone who wants this to go to production considered the dilution aspect.
Anywhere between 0 and 100% of the funding would need to be equity...
How many people who are hawking production have thought through the consequences for their shareholding...
How many of them have the funds to increase their SOLG holding by up to 400% in order to avoid dilution...?
Look at what happened to SXX...this is a far better prospect than the SXX mine, but in the end it was the failure to finance the deal that effectively bust the company and allowed AAZ to walk away with it for pocket money...
Be careful what you wish for.
I have never said I wanted a bid...indeed have argued for J/V(s) with BHP and/or NCM for Alpala and/or Porvenir, to finance the development of the 'string of pearls' thereby allowing SOLG to remain independent, but...
If I had the choice between monetising my shares at between £1/2 now or waiting another ten years to get the same sort of price and in the meantime risk more years in the doldrums, there's no choice...
Hope this helps...
Just work out how much cash you would need to invest to avoid a 80% dilution (i.e buying 4 times what you have now...)
