Gapped down on Monday but British Bulls see a major bullish harami since then...

Still no real volume since the beginning of December...Mondays minor spike and selloff was down to the wider market...

Poly is holding up quote nicely...no real size on the sells, but chunky buys going through above the offer suggests its small investors panic selling and professionals buying...

FRES down on the silver price which is recovering slightly...

MMs took it down to 23.65 but it looks like its bouncing now

Thats a pretty keen price the seller sold at opulent...only 0.1p below the bid suggests there is still buying interest in the background....

Could be a smart move addickt....S&P had a shocking week last week and FTSE affected today...

However, I've loaded up again with FRES and POLY today at c810p and 1129p...

Interest rate rises won't happen as fast as anticipated in the US...inflation has to be tamed but the FED will start with QT and actually be quite happy with inflation deflating the US debt...

But gold (and silver) have to reflect reality sooner rather than later...

First target on gold $1850 then $1875...

Underlying strength in metals...

Can the bulls gird themselves to crash through $1860 gold and $4.75v copper next week...

Is this the start of the metals bull run...?

Gold trying to plough through $1840 having been blatantly held around $1837 for at least 45 minutes...

Then a concerted bear attack from $1840 to $1836 failed and now we're above $1841...

Silver has similarly been banging on the door at $24, having come up from $22.783 to $24.121 in just over a day...

Bought another 50,000 at 42.4 today...

Lets see what tomorrow holds...

So why would the PFS be based on $3.30 when it has been above that for 14 months and for the past 9 months has averaged exactly $4.45 or c35% above that...

But in any case, a bidder won't use the PFS numbers, they will have their own in house projections of copper and gold prices on which to base their bid...

I simply don't hold to the view that a bdetermined idder will wait for the PFS because they would risk it being open season .

Of course mining is not done in a panicky fashion, but there will be a massive dearth of supply by 2025; there is only 9 years of gold left to mine because especially the major miners have been dilatory in replacing their resources...

However difficult it is to get the stuff out of Alpala (and it will be a whole lot easier elsewhere, I believe we will soon see the start of M&A season....

Gold just sailed from $1825 to $1838 in just 8 minutes...

Silver trying to bust strong resistance at $24...

Copper well above $4.46, consolidating around $4.48...on its way to $4.60...?

Copper up 2% since COB yesterday, hit $4.47 and currently consolidating around $4.46

Gold only up 1% so far after bouncing off resistance at $1826...

Plenty to watch as the prospective NPV of Alpala is improving by the day...

Autobots have taken this down again today on microscopic volume.....

Most people are still waiting, but for an illustration of what could happen when a stock is oversold, take POLY yesterday...

I bought at 1110p (not quite the bottom), believing that it had been massively oversold on a steady stream of relatively small bargains up to £3,000 or so....

It bottomed at c1088 yesterday exectly 24 hours ago and has just touched 1190, up 9.4% in that time on bear closing...

We had a run at 29p 10 days ago and, despite buyers around at 32p have fallen back 20% but to my untutored eye the chart looks pretty bullish...

This stock is oversold IMO and, as we all agree, massively undervalued...

It is primed for one piece of juicy news to burst it through 29p....

C'mon Dazza...what you up to....?

Copper needs to break $4.46, then $4.60 and finally surge through $4.75....

The only question is....with average grades down to 0.45 or below and a dearth of new projects coming online, how long dare BHP or indeed any of the other major copper producers shown in your report hold off acquiring the second largest new Tier 1 project around, with a potential to start producing copper in the first year of serious global deficit and with a mine life of 55 years...

Let alone the other prospects and, assuming a gold boom shortly, the bonanza of gold resources across the SOLG portfolio...

Time to fire the starting gun...?
