RE: New presentation25 Feb 2022 09:52
You make some interesting points Lunch...
Maybe Darryl is distancing himself from the Mather 'shock and ore' approach...
I have never had any doubt that the delays on PFS were not just about Tandy, but about all the production and technical tweaks that could make the project more commercial/economic/financeable...
I thought it was interesting that there is no mention of Tandy on page 13 of the presentation, despite us being led to believe that open pit mining there would enable a fast start for the Cascabel project...
Given the excitement and drilling results for the other projects in the past, I too find the reference solely to Porvenir (next cab off the rank) and not RIO, beyond its appearance in a list, to be puzzling.
Surely we weren't sold a pup by Nick...so I'm still drawn to the view that any sexy results have been held up by lab delays due to COVID< will be RNSed separately and may even be held up as part of a bid defence.
In summary, based on Darryl's pronouncements so far and the stripped down presentation, I suspect this is an open invitation to put up or shut up for prospective bidders for Cascabel or the whole ball of wax and/or Porvenir may well be prepped for IPO or separate sale or JV through the Green Rock stable (which includes Porvenir, Cisne Loja and Sharug)...
In the December 2021 presentation, Porvenir, Rio Amarillo, Sharug and Cisne Loja were specifically delineated as 'Priority Projects'.
This highlighting has been removed from the Feb 2022 presentation...what's the significance of this...with only Porvenir singled out. You could understand Darryl demanding a sharper focus rather than a scattergun approach, but why is he suddenly playing his cards close to his chest?
