A recent online discussion sponsored by Cosmetics Désign highlighted comments such as L’Oreal ‘ inside-out beauty that targets the gut-skin axis is a really exciting space ‘ - or Gallinee Cosmetics stating ‘ a mind-blowing New Product révolution ahead with inside-out beauty ‘.

From my basic research on competition I see that the USA group ADM are completing a new production facility for 2022 in Spain for their various probiotic products. They carried out a study on gut to skin in 2919 with a successful trial using their selected strains but have not yet brought to market .

For those like me who have difficulty in writing the word ‘psoriasis ‘ - to let you know that it comes from the Ancient Greek word ‘psora ‘ meaning ‘itch’. Also to be noted that the FDA in the USA has still not approved any treatment.

Great to see our 11% rise but take a look at
the 172% rise yesterday of Futura Medical on AIM when they got EU approval for their gel without a prescription. So all is possible for health related breakthroughs .

It would be nice to know if the SKINBIO formula currently under trial is expected to be usable long term since I gather this is a complaint which returns . Other treatments seem to have a max use of one year.

As a newcomer to this share I been trying to get my head around the formula of gut to skin . I had a masterclass on the subject by listening to a video in 2018 featuring a presentation by Cathy O’Neill which every potential investor should listen to . She speaks beautifully with total clarity on the product - she is an excellent communicator and I wished she still had the time to make appearances on share discussions .
At that time when asked on staff - she had difficulty to reply but said the company was ‘lean & mean ‘ which she then altered to ‘ lean & friendly’. As the SKINBIO lead scientist we are in brilliant hands .

Kums : my gut feeling is a resistance at 50p and no movement until end May . Right now it wouldn’t take much to see SP @40.

I have spent too much energy on the French biotech sector where clinical trials take for ever and research costs are high plus huge CEO salaries. Here my immediate impression was very strict running costs plus the blessing of not needing clinical trials . All now of course depends on the product - if the trial is a success then SKINBIO has an assured future for the immediate - especially if the USA market follows. Reasonable to hope for a jump to 60p with success but seemingly a very lightweight shareholder profile with very short term objectives .

The SP is now down 25% from the NYSE launch and is beginning to reflect the Black Thursday crash in 1987 which strangely was the same October date as the recent launch date on Wall Street for Burford .
Now must be a compelling time to invest in Burford for the medium term but clearly most investors for this stock are momentum driven.

formula for cosmetics which is not known to the hugely competitive competition ? It’s encouraging to see the £5M production investment by Croda - I wonder what they found .

I love the concept of SkinBio’s business model but I would be most grateful if a learned shareholder could educate me on how SKINBIO are offering a formula which is patented and cannot be repeated by bigger companies ?

It would be interesting to know exactly how Demir Export took the initiative to seduce Professor Conroy who had been unable to tie up the Anglo Asia partner over one year . The SP doesn’t seem to be sure of the deal with DEMIR despite the Professors euphoria - age may be a factor since the Prof must be close to a well earned retirement.

All the signs show that gold is close to a bottom with a very possible rebound to 2100$ by end year - so this gives hope for a 20% SP bounce .

Crazy 777I notice no one is recommending Centamin as a safe dividend option - clearly doing business with Egyptians is not for a wise wife - specially with a never resolved court case and a wily local manager knowing when to offload shares. Nevertheless the wise wife will probably regret ignoring Centamin when on 22 March our cheer leader will announce amazing new licenses and exciting exploration news in Africa .Also a thought for our Chairman buying a big chunk at 150p - someone must have convinced him that this is a safe dividend payer.

I have read your previous posts and see that you have previously been very bullish
on BUR at higher SPs. In any case I go along with your current conclusion.

I have had ‘ blind faith ‘ since two years ‘ in Burford for the business model and directors . I have difficulty in understanding the 25% drop since the USA quote and can’t understand why the MW should still weigh on investors since there complaints were never justified - I would appreciate any comments as to why before plunging back in .

I wonder if the bright ambitious employee lawyers are affected by the sluggish falling SP or are they happy with their salaries ?

With all the talk of a Stockmarket crash and money printing you have to wonder when this scenario will start to appear and hold will climb 10-20%. Until that time seems like endless patience .

The share movements over the last three months give the impression that there is little conviction that the deal is going to happen . Seems that the Professor does not have a very clear reputation for total sincerity . As usual it is wait and see .

With all the war tension in the South China Sea it is likely that the gold price has found a bottom and we are likely to see a very positive year plus positive reports on West Africa . Only positive signs to look forward too.
