i agree, we could see a good close tomorrow as it will then be into another week, another week closer to the CE mark and the end of may when the RNS said we plan to be selling our coronavirus tests

feels like we a forming a new base at moment, just like we have in past weeks gone by after the flurry of activity

after yesterdays crazy day we look to be holding steady

back to the usual quiet days when it casuallly drifts about not doing much, these are the days you remember why you bought in first place and what the end goal is

who the placing shares go to, well BGF taking a chunk they are one of our big holders as it is, can only hope they are going to plenty of institutions

the reason i have confidence they will, the RNS mentioned EIS and VCT, these are investment products that specially designed, you cant really just buy an sell back the next day

our biggest insitution holder is calculus capital and these are all EIS and VCT based investments

can imagine a fair split is going to be over thousands of investors, and processing thousands of different investors is that too much work for the broker, hence they will simply allocate it to who they want to

no harm in registering our interest though

allocations determined at the brokers discretion, and it just uses the word investors, so could that mean any old person who doesnt even hold GDR at the moment?

sounds likely that your average private investor isnt going to get much if any, especially if broker can allocate at their discretion

there could well be some bumpy patches short term before the longer term goal starts to get nearer

shocking timing for the directors here, should have been a 7am placing, they have shaken the markets short term confidence and probably a lot of new people looking in

let the market settle down and find its price, i dont expect much more to happen this week, but the end goal is still the products being approved and on sale

looking forward to orders from the HCV test

GDR could suddenly become a multi tiered cake that not many were expecting

it would be beyond what we could hope for, but an orders RNS on the HCV test would be mental if that dropped this week

if we got something like that before the hoped CE mark...

as soon as a product is ready to go, surely GDR are going to get orders in fast, would people have been ready and waiting for the WHO approval of the HCV test then boom they get their order in

go to the home page guys, we are slap bang in middle of it as the big news headline

probably a question for long term holders, those who bought into GDR on the back of the HCV test

i think has been mentioned a little, put coronavirus to one side, if this HCV test was what GDR was about, and orders now start coming in, effectively we have a self sufficient company without coronavirus

it begs the question, surely the company has now arrived at the top table, a profitable self sufficient company on AIM can at times be the holy grail

and the above is without taking into account coronavirus - makes you think doesnt it

maybe that top sice target just went massively up

GDR tests are "have you got it" so they are not antibody

AVCT have analyst and shareholder presentations on Wednesday this week, where shareholdes can ask questions as well, i expect it could get a bit rampy - which is my genuine opinion of that share as a whole

the finn cap joint broker move has been a rocket up GDR

we have moved up £20m in market cap today

remember when we were 30p and such a struggle it seemed to move up to 60p, that 30p to 60p movement was only £10m market cap increase

your posting history says otherwise jag, take it easy, majority of holders here are in for the coming weeks when product is ready for sale

just got to look at the underlying movement of GDR and what is still to come, intra day movements, or intra hour movements should not be over analysed

it could well drop back a little, say find its new base by wednesday, then push on again ready for next week

but who knows if an rns will drop this week, update on something else, not yet the CE mark but plenty of other info they could have for us

question of whether you happy to hold and wait or try be clever and play any swings, and get a few more shares for free

tempting as it is to trust the latest pattern of share movement, im here for product launch at least, a few extra cheap shares are not as big an issue for me

ive held many exploration shares in my time, particulary the oil ones, there is the build up from surveys all the way to spud of the well and in the middle of the drill, but it is all down to the result of the drill, either find oil in commercial quantities or you dont

in essence GDR is on that build up, maybe having now manufactured the product, we have in comparison got all the way to the spud of the well, but what is next for GDR

do we really think there is a risk we might not get the CE mark, or that there will not be the demand for our test, we are in the most extraordinary of times that we will likely never ever see again

without saying what risk is there to GDR, we know a vaccine is a while away, there is an antibody test being developed but the "have you got it" test is not going away and the requirement for it never will, there might be others selling and developing different similar tests to us to demand will outweigh supply for a long time

maybe, just maybe, what we announced friday, being we have successfully completed the manufacture of the test, maybe that is the single most criticial part of the whole process there is

hard to not want to hold every share all the way until product launch and orders come in, but at less than £50m market cap what else is there to do lol

question, if were currently £90m market cap (double our current level), and with product coming to the market in the next few weeks, what would we be saying?

we would probably be thinking we are likely still undervalued - especially compared to the likes of others on the market, either in the process of developing tests or actually selling them
