Your comments are actually a contradiction of what investing is

People buy because they think the company is going to do far better that it currently is, you don't buy because you think oh yes the share price is bang on, you buy a share you think is undervalued, so by definition you are expecting it to go up

radley, what if you get your shares in the placing, but gdr announce a fatal error in their product, because as you big pharma is much better

what happens to your many thousands of pounds you just put in at 80p, oh dear you can sell them back for 10p

1. deramping because you dont want gdr to succeed (must be a secret ncyt holder)

or

2. you are actually scared that your placing buy will end being more than the share price when you sell them back, so you talking negative is actually a contradiction to what you want to happen, you should want gdr price to hold up

my beef? the directors messed up, i have openly stated that

but what happens when GDR are selling 6m tests per month and making £30m gross profit? net profit in that is going to be big

so what market cap is GDR going to be then

you are focusing your argument on a company with a share placing and nothing more, very blinkered approach from you which is ignoring the elephant that is in the room - soon to be making £30m gross profit per month

i am, like many holders who were in gdr weeks and weeks ago, are holding for big returns, by that time the company will be a whole new monster, and little old private investors wont have any impact on the price at all

answer me this radley, if as you say, the selling continues, then when placing shares arrive the selling still carries on

ok, but what happens after your "predicted" selling stops because nobody left to sell, what happens when gdr announce their product has received approval, it is selling on the market, it has massive orders, it is a world first that means everyone wants the product

in your scenario, does our share price close one day at 80p and open the next day at £5 plus?

check out NCYT and their £280m market cap, that is where GDR are going, now work out what share price it means for GDR

heard a similar story about somebody who had symptoms, had a test (because family member had already tested positive), but their test was inconclusive

if genedrive becomes gold standard for testing then watch out :-)

Fair play to calculus for updating GDR on the day they sold a few and directors got the RNS out straight away

Thursday 10th April - closed at 40p
Friday 17th April - closed at 58p (inc 18p) - high of the week early 70s
Friday 24th April - closed at 82p (inc 24p) - high of the week early 90s
Friday 1st May - closed at £1.35 (inc 53p) - high of the week late £1.30s
Thursday 7th May - closed at £1.68 (inc 33p) - high of the week late £2.90s

Without the placing, the increase from Friday 1st May to Thursday 7th May would have been more than 33p and very likely more than the 53p increase from the wek before

The trend is still going in the right direction, we are still increasing at a better rate than previously, and more importantly, we still have the biggest news of all to come in the next few weeks
