ive not read enough about SNG to form any detailed opinion but that is my view from afar, so i am very much here in GDR because it all seems logical, and i would go as far as saying a safer play that other coronavirus stocks

im personally not worried about any institution selling, as in if they do it has no correlation whatsoever to where GDR is heading, ive seen plenty of background sellers before which can hold a price back, but the amount of volume it can attract because people know the seller creates a temporary false market where share price is far lower than what it should be

people calling for NCYT to be valued in the billions is what is crazy talk, those people are going on PE multiples

same over at AVCT another multi billion pound company in the making

NCYT are doing if i recall correctly, 4m tests a month and trying to upscale to 8m, we have been told the GDR capacity so if we start to max that out we could be something similar to NCYT - that is partly the unknown at the moment

i would not touch NCYT and AVCT with a barge pole, you dont get many billion pound companies on AIM

i know people who have told me to sell GDR, they told be to sell well below £1, a lot of people still think coronavirus is just a cold or little bit of flu

these people probably went sunbathing during lockdown and never social distanced

the more you read specifically about coronavirus the better you understand it is a far bigger monster, and to those that dont want to read, well simply put you wont be able to go to a football match this calendar year, think that spells it out

if nobody wants GDR tests then so be it, but in my opinion it is such a small chance of that, why? because the demand currently and for a long time will far outweigh supply, especially for highly accurate tests

stock market bubble? selling coronavirus tests this time next year might not be as sexy as it currently is, but by then GDR could well have been selling for many many months and are a whole different beast

AVCT, £30m market cap to £250m in 4 months

oh but they have far more things going on, ok lets say AVCT "core" business doubled from £30m to £60m in the last 4 months...

where did the other £190m come from...?

they have not even got a product on the market for coronavirus yet

only thing i can say is, anybody new to GDR i can maybe see their cautiousness, but ive been in here nearly 2 months, so i am far more immersed in what is going on and how the company has progressed in those 2 months and the huge strides they have made

what if the company announces CE mark next week and that they have had orders already and there is penty of demand

if there is a background seller the news of this will sweep across the market, because loads of people will look at GDR and think, they are selling tests, there is plenty demand, why is there market cap so low, oh, background seller, i will have some of that

the problem is if a company is already on its peak market cap, then you have trouble with a background seller, because there is nowhere for them to go, no volume to clear it

so much more news to come for GDR, if it is positive news, then it is full steam ahead

lp160606 i understand where you are coming from, and by no means are GDR home and dry yet, naturally, but from what we have been told, if they succeed it could be in the next few weeks - i am sure you will agree to that

and what is succeed, yes many levels of that, but if they are able to become self funding, that changes the landscape for the company, it will be transformational - how many companies are there on AIM that can fund themselves

problem i have with SNG is they are going nowhere fast, it was said last night on the 7pm update that a vaccine may never happen, let alone treatment for this disease, so i very much class SNG as the ultimate punt

GDR are on the verge of launching a product and potentiall generating revenue, yes nobody might want the GDR test, yes there are plenty other tests out there, but if i was so worried about the risk i would not be holding any shares

And I don't expect GDR to have offered placing shares to any old institution, GDR will have been in the driving seat, they were hardly on last legs desperate for funds

Look at history, GDR only get involved with institutions who are in it for the long haul

A bit of research seriously does go amiss here

To those saying price will drop near to placing when shares hit market, clearly don't know what GDR is about

The company's future is far brighter that where it currently is, any placing shares will get eaten up quickly should we get the big news we expect in the coming weeks

If GDR is a £200m company in the making, sat at £60m odd it won't hang about even if there are flippers

If calculus are genuinely interested in selling a lot into the rise (assuming it happens because of good news), then some right catapult tension could build, have to then watch out and see

GDR might have wanted to get that holding RNS out quick last Thursday to show why there was big dip

I'm not 100% sure but I would have thought regardless of how many calculus sell, even if it's 0.1% they have to update

But we did see with Spreadex they were always a day or two after

A lot of the 7th ones are all from the morning, which we know when the dip was, and a lot to them are round amount share numbers

The other side of the argument is nobody wants the GDR tests, but everything GDR have said is about what they are trying to achieve, not much to say on the flip side

Risk is they don't succeed, simple as that

If I click on the gdr trades above, after 8 or 9 lines it starts a whole load of ones dated 7th for £20k £30k £40k

no, i will be sensible, if our world first test hits the market and is a success then we could well be looking at a couple of hundred million pound company in the making

now, for anyone that wants to call that a crazy ramp, how about you go over to NCYT and AVCT and call them out for talking up their company as being a future billion pound plus company, and one of them aint even got a coronavirus product on the market either

calling out people for being very pro GDR, think you are trying to police the wrong board, its as bad as sticking speed cameras up instead of trying to catch real criminals

Anybody that has read the rns knows the test is more than just a back street outfit knocking one together

And when placing results do come out, don't believe anybody if they claim to have got tens of thousands, even if they got zero they will lie and claim to have got loads

The one thing I do agree with our resident extremely confident poster, AVCT hit £250m market cap today

Per their RNS they sent their affimers to partners so point of care tests can be developed, prototypes hopeful in coming weeks

Point of care or not, how can anyone say GDR is speculative or a punt or what ever compared to AVCT
