Canaccord have raised their forecast for the 2026 year end cash balance to $371m (previously $245m)

Canaccord were previously forecasting 2026 production of only 40koz due to the mine life. That's now been increased dramatically:

'Most importantly, 2026 production guidance was roughly double our previous forecast. All in, we are now expecting a much better 2026. We raise our target on THX by 19% to 106p and maintain our BUY rating.'

IHeartMedia had a cash balance and total available liquidity of $236 million and $527 million, respectively, as of June 30, 2025.

The iheartmedia share price (listed on Nasdaq) was up 5% on Friday on the back of the news.

Shares of global media and entertainment company iHeartMedia (NASDAQ:IHRT) jumped 5.2% in the afternoon session after the company was identified as a potential bidder for the podcast producer Audioboom Group PLC. According to a Sky News report, London-based Audioboom was exploring a potential takeover of the company. Media analysts noted that iHeartMedia, which is based in San Antonio, Texas, could be a possible suitor. The news pointed to a potential expansion for iHeartMedia, which may have been viewed favorably by investors.

I don’t think Casefile is a big deal.

I've done some research and it looks like it is monetised in Australian by Australian Radio Network (ARN).

Audioboom monetises it directly in the US. It is far less popular in the US (No 144 currently in the US Apple podcast chart vs No 7 in Australia).

Does Audioboom only provide advertising for Casefile in the US?

JohnHenry. That's just how it normally works with open offers. The ex-date is after the record date.

Same with SCE (Record date 1 May, Ex-entitlement date 7 May)

Same with AGL (Record date 4 June, Ex-entitlement date 6 June)

POLX have done the same as everyone else. No mistakes. Annoyingly, it just means that people can buy before the ex date.

What are people's thoughts on the cash position?

I think we were expecting this and it's more than priced in now.

Against the sector a flat performance in 2023 is very good.

Next year is still forecast to grow about 40% to $16.5m.

They should still easily have enough cash to get to breakeven. I think 2024 as a whole will be close to breakeven and I think H2 2024 will be cashflow positive.

Still good value at these levels.
