Was just looking at realised prices vs current gold price. With the same production rates and AISC in Q2, profits will be up by nearly 20% on Q1 even if the gold price stays the same. However can only see it going higher with the uncertainties in the world’s economy. The sky really is the limit for our company.

Results appear to exceed expectations in every metric unless I’ve missed something.

As the new parent company following the cross listing, Greatland Resources, will be incorporated in Australia, will it still be eligible to be in a UK ISA portfolio?

Now the SP is about A$0.25 and potentially over 30c by June, there is no longer an ASX requirement to consolidate the shares. Is there any other reason why they should be consolidated? I quite like having a seven figure holding even though logically it won’t make much difference if they do consolidate.

He’s caused the gold price to rise faster than it would have done. Shame he’s doing his best to trash the world economy to make it happen.

With ore looking like it could be produced faster than we can process it, and with potential additional business from neighbouring mines, would it be cost effective to invest in a third train at Telfer?

How much CAPEX would be needed? Presumably it could utilise existing Telfer infrastructure such as tailings dams, power generators, worker facilities etc. Would it be worth doing to increase our potential revenue by up to 50% pa?

Is there any prospect of a Northwest meet, ideally Manchester area?

As gold is a safe haven in turbulent times, I suspect the price of gold will go up helping miners in the sector.

I didn’t suggest SD would instigate it or support it Daz. In fact I believe he would be totally opposed.

However hostile takeovers happen all the time. I don’t think it will happen because there are a number of safeguards in place but I wouldn’t write it off. Now is the time where we are at our most vulnerable. A £2bn bid (for example) would offer a 50-60% premium on the current SP and might tempt some shareholders. Whereas those of us who have been tracking this company carefully know its true value is far in excess of that.

I have no concerns about the future prospects and profitability of GGP.

What does slightly concern me is the muted reaction to what should be huge news. Makes me wonder if one or two major shareholders in conjunction with compliant MMs are planning a takeover and are softening up PIs to accept an offer barely into double figures.

Instability across the western world brought about by his regular chaotic policy changes will benefit arms companies and safe havens like gold. When the rest of my portfolio goes to hell in a handcart at least GGP will be booming.

If the dodgy AIM MMs can arrange a brief drop of the SP on 6 April so I can Bed and ISA more shares and avoid CGT I would be very grateful. After that they can f*** off.

If we’ve been processing ore at the same rate as the December update we will already have sold nearly £200m worth of gold of which around half will be profit. SP is an absolute joke. Current PE must be less than 3.

Doesn’t look like their analysts have much of a clue.

Looks like US steel tariffs just announced have given another boost to the gold price due to increased economic turbulence in the rest of the world economy. As long as we’ve got the lunatic in the White House doing stupid s*** it will continue to go up which is great news for us if not for anyone else.

Just read an Interactive Investor article about AIM where GGP’s forward PE is listed as 162.

My own calculations based on continued processing of ore in line with the amount produced in December according to the RNS suggests the forward PE should be about 2.

It’s no wonder the price isn’t being pushed up if many investors don’t look past some figures plucked from nowhere by some analyst somewhere.
