The final two paragraphs that say future prospects rely on the price of the commodity and it’s uncertain what that will be in two years. This literally applies to every mining company in the world or indeed every company that sells a physical product. A decent analyst should be able to look at the geopolitical and economic factors related to the prospective future price and make a prediction. This one doesn’t do that so the article is pointless.

Hope you’re right Froggy however if it’s just a four bagger from now taking it to just over 30p in the next year I will be delighted.

Bought a small stake late 2019 for just under 9p and was on the ride up to 85p and back down again (unfortunately). Anyway I’ve put in a larger amount a month ago to average down to 6.1p. In retrospect the rise to 85p 4-5 years ago was mostly hype but the fundamentals look much more solid now and whilst I don’t anticipate it heading up that high any time soon, I strongly think that we’re in for some solid growth up to at least the 30s in the next year or so. Either that or bust.

I suspect NST’s below expectations results will have a short term drag on the whole sector but our fundamentals will ensure that doesn’t last long for us.

If a gold mining industry average PE of 23.3 (based on Google) was applied based on the most recent FCF figure of A$253M for one quarter, an SP of around 87p can be calculated. This is actually quite conservative because the POG is up around 15% on our average selling price, and FCF is usually a lower figure than the Earnings figure normally used for PE calculations. Clearly we’re not yet treated as an industry average company but if we trust our management team to carry on delivering as they have since the Telfer/Hav buyout there’s really no reason why our SP won’t start to head towards that sort of level and beyond. We could easily be invested in a six bagger in the relatively short term with the sky being the limit once Hav and WDD come on line and other discoveries are made at EG and other areas of exploration.

As you’ve seen it many times before you should be able to provide some equivalent examples.

You can call it conspiracy rubbish if you want but I think there’s a conscious effort going on between MMs and some large investors to keep the SP unstable at the moment to get small investors to panic and sell so the institutions can pick them up on the cheap. I think these shenanigans will stop once we’re on ASX and business fundamentals will be the main driver.

A 3.3% price rise in gold is equivalent to an increase in profits of nearer 5%. That’s the minimum we should be seeing on the SP tomorrow to maintain the P/E.

The point I was making is that it’s not a straight choice between income and growth Jerry. A company can still mostly focus on growth and pay a small dividend, whereas a company solely focused on income is usually in a steady state with an SP and yield that reflects that.

In two years we will be established enough to pay a dividend imo.

Northern Star’s and Newmont’s yields are around 2%. I suspect ours will be similar in a year or two. A balance between income and growth.

Anything that comes out of that idiot’s mouth has no credibility as he makes it up as he goes along.

I personally think dividends will start sooner than people might think. With the ASX cross listing, IIs (particularly pension funds) will be looking for income as well as growth, and with the amount of cash this business is already generating there’s no reason not to start dividends in the not too distant future. I suspect we’ll see a timescale for expected dividends before the listing.

I’ll be getting shares worth all of £32.70 which is £17.30 less than what I would have got with 0.2 AAU per SVE.

Neither here nor there compared to the £5k value of the 33,000 GGP shares that were awarded from the shares I held in SVE.

Can’t complain though. I bought close to another million GGP shares after finding out about it via SVE, and I’m around 130% up on what I paid for my GGP shares.
