I think we’ll get a significant bump up in the SP when a realistic valuation of OC backed up by real measured data is made known. At the moment its value is anybody’s guess and I think the SP has nothing baked in for it. From a personal perspective I’d rather the OC deal was an outright sale with the proceeds distributed to the shareholders. A couple of quid a share would be nice!!

As a company we can still make money after the sale by providing access to Telfer infrastructure for the appropriate price.

At almost $12 now. They’ve had their fun and the fundamentals are showing through now.

Looks like excellent results to me. Makes you wonder wtf the market was expecting as the results seem to have gone down like a lead balloon, and we don’t even mine lead.

With the new reserves estimate, each share now effectively owns £22.85 worth of gold plus £3 worth of copper at the current spot prices. Taking into account AISC and other considerations, surely the SP should still be over a tenner, especially as WDU is not even in the figures.

I’m no expert and don’t know what the market was expecting but to me an increase in reserves like that should should add more than a few percent to the SP. We’ll get an indication on ASX in 6 minutes.

Conflicting information on different websites regarding the closing price. According to II it’s up 89.5p but most others say up 11p.

Can’t imagine there’s many who hold significant cash in a S&S ISA, and the interest is negligible these days so the tax to be paid will be next to nothing for most people. Unless I’m missing something which is certainly possible.

Bought AFC (the forerunner to HPOW) around 7 years ago and was on the ride to nearly a quid and all the way back. Topped up at around 6.2p about a year ago so I’ve doubled my investment but I don’t think it’s really started yet. I see no reason why it won’t be at least a ten bagger once they announce a few more sales and the world wakes up to the advantages of the ammonia cracking technology. If it gets back to a quid ill be taking some profits this time.

About $13.65 now.

Fairly sure Shaun and the board will have a detailed plan to monetise OC in the near future. Look forward to finding out soon whether it will be through a JV or a sale. Either way, with the current worldwide tungsten shortages it seems like the perfect time to cash in.

Yet some people want to give him credit for reducing the oil flow by 65% just because it was previously reduced by 100% due to his actions. If anything constructive was achieved I’m yet to see evidence of it.

Trump will reject the deal at least one more time. There’s still mileage for him and his backers to make a few more millions with his blatant market manipulation.

There’s still mileage best chance is that he’ll want to declare “victory” just ahead of 4 July, and in his head any deal will be trumpeted as a victory even if we’re in a worse position than before it all started.

Hopefully market makers have learnt to ignore the ramblings of the Whitehouse madman and will set the prices based on real relevant news and demand for the shares. There’s a fair chance we’ll see the formal Hav FID this week, which although will come as no surprise, it will trigger quite a few institutional buys pushing the price up.
