Maybe the Blackrock RNS is the only visible sign of what’s happened where they made 4.6 million shares available to be loaned for a fee. Perhaps there are multiple other investment companies / banks that have done the same but under the TR1 threshold.

I guess the only thing we can do as private investors is sit tight and don’t let the bastards get our shares on the cheap.

That breakdown is at odds with the presentation in today’s RNS which has the following breakdown:

Newmont 10%

Wyloo 8%

Tempo 5%

Firetrail 3%

Directors/Management 1%

Other 5%

The remaining 66% is split between Institutional at 44% and non-Institutional at 22%.

Looks like there’s a bit of rounding so it doesn’t quite add up to 100%

To me that reads as private investors holding just 22% Jag.

And hopefully JB, the IIs will now be happy with their overall share of the company and the share price volatility over the last two months that many suspect has been deliberate to try and get PIs to sell, will evolve into a steady climb upwards.

I was surprised to see that non-institutional investors now hold just 22% of the company’s shares. I thought that it was in the 40s not that long ago. Maybe I’m mistaken.

3.2% of GGP is more like £65m.

I think we’re currently witnessing the final shakedown.

Pushing the SP below £3 will undoubtedly shake free a few shares from investors no very clued up with stop losses set.

Far too many factors at play for this to carry on like this. The next quarter results will push the PE down to around 6.7 which is unsustainable with cash continuing to flood in.

I expect a significant reset in the next month.

For once, and it doesn’t happen often, I agree with Ninetop…. Having everything invested in gold related investments is totally the opposite of a “rocking well diversified portfolio” Sageman. Having said that I hope you make a fortune. I’ve broken my own investment rules by putting over 20% of my investable assets in GGP, and I’m quietly confident I’ve not made a mistake.

Yahoo Finance have a one year price estimate of 448.6p. It also is the only website I can find that has updated its financial information to reflect the latest results including a PE of 8.87. Every other website has either a negative PE, no PE or a PE in the thousands. That includes LSE. If they can’t get their basic data updated in a timely manner it makes you wonder what analysts use for their price predictions. I’ll go with Yahoo Finance for now.

What stands out for me is the earnings per share is just over 63c.

That gives us a P/E of 8.6 with just 7 months of trading.

Assuming similar results for the next 5 months, the P/E will be down to around 5.

With typical P/Es in the sector being 15 to 25 it suggests we're undervalued by a factor of 3 to 5.

Obviously the markets aren't stupid and know this which suggests there's still a lot of tree shaking going on.

I'll be sitting tight for the forseeable because this manipulation can't last forever.

I think the demise of FIAT is unlikely but there will certainly be more of a focus on physical assets especially gold. I do think the days of the USD being the world’s reserve currency will come to an end though due to the US economy being sabotaged by the stupidity of the orange fool. Can see the Euro becoming more prominent but it will never replace the dollar and there will be more emphasis on gold which can only be good for us.

The story has had no impact on SP.

It’s opened on ASX at the AIM close price and is just a couple of cents down now.

Feels like a bit of a result after the last couple of hours.

I was gullible enough to think that the ASX listing would remove the shenanigans we saw regularly on AIM but it seems like nothing has changed. The big funds want their shares on the cheap and their MM pals are doing their best to accommodate, and it looks like that’s being done in conjunction with GGP management. I think that once the PI percentage of the shares is down to typical levels, we’ll see a lot less of this what seems to be blatant manipulation.

For those who are saying it will end up solely on ASX.

So what. I can buy and sell on ASX as easily as on AIM and if I don't sell my AIM listed CDIs, why wouldn't they just revert to being ASX listed shares?

And for the idiot who actually wants a low ball takeover so he can take the p*** out of people who lose money - what's wrong with you?
