Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Nope, plenty of cash £9m +, if you read the BFS and new Prezzo from yesterday.
Wud b nice to see the BOD find a buyer for LO's stock though.
That's not beyond the wit of Man , given the other major shareholders of their share register !

Well I hope that when the SS DOES finally come out, there is a better SP reaction than the one to HZM's BFS, released yesterday !!! Brutal !

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn.
Any feedback from the Honkers Prezzo Prickly ? Do we still have a viable Asset & Company ?
Did it leave you thoroughly depressed or worth a quick visit to the "Country Club" ? !
Haven't heard a "squawk" from LR since.

Mmmmmm, but where is the Nickel price actually going to go in the future, that is the important question ? In the medium term I expect it to go up, for stainless steel and the likes of Tesla's batteries which are going to be at least 50% Nickel in the future. In other words, just wot JM said in his presentation yesterday, for those who actually bothered to read it.
LO have a mandate from their own Funds & Clients, to get out and wont like a falling SP, so will only accelerate their selling IMHO - that's how Funds work these days - they aren't contrarian any more.
I think that the mine is easily fundable - $420m is pretty small beer for the mining "big boys" and global finance houses, who want to play in the serious game of actually building a Tier 1 Nickel Asset, which Araguia IS.
You can see right now how many short -term people are in this stock. A good time for the patient to take money off the impatient, as Warren Buffet would say.
IMHO. DYOR. GLA.
Take-home statistic from the Proactive Podcast with JM, for me was the amount of Nickel demand being projected for global roll-out of EV's - between 500 m & 1Billion tons. Current global production is only 2.2m tons p.a. !! And that's without the current growing demand for Ni for Stainless Steel prod.
Puts everything that's happened today into a totally different context IMHO. This , is a BIG, long-term , Tier 1 Asset.
Directors have plenty of Options on HZM stock, so they don't need to buy shares in the market, of course. Be nice if they did though - would show some desire to align themselves FULLY with shareholders i.e. to the DOWNSIDE, as well as to the UPSIDE !!
IMHO. DYOR. GLA.
Well, nobody asked about LO in the recent conf call which has just ended, so I assume that everyone is "Cool" with the current situation, or simply cudn't be bothered to ask ! Looks like it's down to market forces then......... ?
IMHO. DYOR. GLA.
Different metal, I know, but has anyone seen the HZM BFS out today - absolute "Stonker" - shows how a Pro BOD deals with such things.
Lets hope that EUZ and Toral produce a similar result, with similar prospects. It has all the potential and has also got to the current stage with no debt, offtake partner, royalty stream or pre-arranged financiers - like HZM, so that is still all to negotiate in a positive Zn/Pb pricing environement.

Just read the RNS through again and the only word I can use is "Stonking". The gearing to Nickel price rises is exceptional and all done , to date with no debt, offtake partner or pre-arranged financier. AND all excluding Vermelho, which could double the Araguia output.
Market pricing situations have a habit of sorting themselves out, but I would be VERY surprised if JM or DH hadn't already made a call (or several) to LO - it's not in their nature to leave such a heavy stone unturned.........

All reads very well, from a serious BOD and a serious Company.
Investors will have a last chance to buy some stock at decent prices over the next 2 weeks as LO continue to sell down to Zero, IMHO. That, may be the last chance to buy some truly cheap stock.
Can't believe the HZM BOD don't have a financier , or JV partner lined up for the mine already. Only real danger is that it gets taken out on the cheap, which I don't think JM or DH will allow to happen, personally, as this co is their "retirement plan", going forward. (along with ERIS).

Far more buying than selling, yet the SP falls. Strange.
Looks like MM's short of stock and bluffing it out. As usual.
IMHO. DYOR. GLA.
Strange, but you beat me to it Quindell , as I was recently just having a look at Ascendant, although I did not know they had any connection with EUZ, so that is good news to me.
They are about the right size (CAD$56m) for a JV and have other Zn/Pb mines in production and , as oiltap says, an interest in Lagoa Salgada in Portugal, not far from Toral, in global terms. The latter project is also the main project that MAFL moved onto , after they sold Toral/Lago to EUZ, 2 years ago, although it is very difficult to work out MAFL's true interest in Lagoa Salgada, as there are a lot of variables in the ownership agreements which can move things up or down. Ascendant will therefore be Very aware of TORAL for the above reasons & MAY (I don't know this for certain) have had an insight into what the Toral SS says ? Who knows.
Still think Boliden or Lundin will also be interested too, as many of their mines are reaching the final years of their Mine Lives and EUZ would be the right size to "Swallow" for them.
Interesting times ahead.

Must say, in 30 years of being involved in markets I have never seen an announcement like this. But hats off to Jeremy Martin for doing it. Its a bit like Elon Musk's recent episode, but its legal and its true !!
Company/Investor presentation already booked for Monday, so it must be happening.
I have a feeling in my water that it is going to be very good news. Shame the markets have reacted in such a muted fashion, but I imagine the MM's are rather pee'd off, as they are usually the 1st to know (or so it always seems) in AIM's wonderful, highly legal, moral unimpeachable World !!
Monday cud b a very interesting day........
IMHO. DYOR. GLA.
Did LR say if Bzt was currently doing any more drilling @ Mankayan , in the Prezzo ?
Yep, its the potential upgrade to Indicated, or even Measured status that really counts. Look wot happened @ Arizona mining after that happened..........! Current mkt cap is a joke in my view, but its currently the same all over Aim, thanks to Donald Toupe & the lies told by the BBC & the Guardian about Brexit. IMHO. DYOR.
Prob to burn a few shorts & up the ante in anticipation of the result, which I think will be company transforming. Wot the mkt & punters make of the Rns , is an entirely different matter however !! IMHO. DYOR.
For those interested in such things the acquisition of the Hermosa Zn/Pb mine owned by Arizona Mining and recently bought for $2bn cash by BHP Billiton offers a very good case study of how a Zn deposit is developed, proved up and then ultimately financed. Clear pathways for EUZ to follow. Good reading for LR/CB as well ?
Of course it also helps if you have a 100m tonne Indicated and Measured Zn/Pb deposit, as Arizona did........! But, scaled down to Toral's level, it could still prove interesting to the likes of Mid-Tier mining companies such as Boliden , Lundin or Teck.
We shall see.
IMHO DYOR. GLA.
Soz, meant 15% combined Zn/Pb grades, from the recent drilling.
19% was in the previous underground pillar samples
Apologies.
IMHO. DYOR. GLA.
I wudnt bank on October chaps - it will come when it comes.
The last Proactive piece I listened to said "in the December quarter", for what that is worth.......
IMHO. DYOR. GLA.
RNS today from Abbeytown reasonably encouraging with combined grades upto 19% ZN/Pb, which are excellent and generally above 6%, which would be acceptable in an international resource context, especially as global average combined grades have now fallen to as low as 4.5% according to a recent SG Report.
Copper also cropping up in the mix, for the 1st time, which could be interesting , given the close proximity of the Ox Mountains fault. This was only at relatively shallow depth as well, whereas the previous thesis was that copper might be below the lowest zinc beds.
We wait to see what further drilling brings and what Anton du Plessis finally has to say for himself , when he takes the "Hot Seat".
Brannberg results from Sweden must be due fairly shortly as well, I should think ?
Lets hope that decent "PR" also follows.............!
