It's the Ni Price, Stupid !2 Nov 2018 09:53
It all hinges on the Nickel price, at the end of the day, as the BFS works around a price of $14,000 per tonne and currently it is less than £12000, regardless of the "Scaleability" of the projects.
So, you have to take a view on future Nickel (& Cobalt ) prices. With Upcoming increasing EV demand & Steady Stainless Steel demand , together with an increasing need for more sophisticated batteries, when Tier 1 Nickel Assets are in short supply, my guess is that the Ni price going to go upwards. Also, think wot might happen if the China/Trump trade talks suddenly work out OK, after months of doom & gloom from the Omnipresent, perennially pessimistic global media ?!
If they do, todays 2.4p SP will look increasingly like the bargain of the century.
Also, don't forget that the major mining cos, who would be looking to buy HZM on the cheap, may not be averse to using their own professional de-rampers , in order to keep the SP down for their own purposes. Its been done before.
