Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
That's the 1st decent news for BEM for a very long time. Kurt has clearly given up on Kallak.
Good decision and would have been a further waste of shareholders funds going forward. sell it to LKAB and move on. Copper & Gold Porphyr's, if found, are always going to be better economic news than Iron (regardless of grade) anyway.
Finland MAY yield something, but I have my doubts. Graphite is a VERY overbought mining space.

Was talking to some friends, who live in Leon, over the weekend, where the EUZ Spanish Office is located.
Anecdotedly, there is apparently a lot of talk in the local business community about the success achieved by the new Euz Management Team to date, and local businesses are making enquiries and gearing up to try and get into the potential local supply chain. All this , in an area which still has quite high youth unemployment.
Still very early days, but shows that things have moved on a lot in the past 2 years since I was last there, in those terrible days of FCR !!

Well at least we know who the buyers were last week, as well as a few PI's over in Blighty topping-up last week., at bargain prices.
Yep Qualia, EV's now are comparable to the Global Transportation Network just before the Internal combustion Engine was invented (or Railway Locomotion if you want to go further back). Everybody doubted them at first - and then the penny dropped and boom, of we went. Why do you think every paid politician, regulator and car industry boss in the USA & Europe are trying desperately to kill off Tesla ? Ans: Because they are trashing the opposition , have 1st mover advantage and their product actually looks good and WORKS. (a bit like Dyson vacuum cleaners). They have their own Battery MegaFactories and those Factories are going to need Nickel & Cobalt, and plenty of it, in a world where it will be in increasingly short supply.
IN addition, HZM , unlike many other AIm-Listed Company BOD's have a BOD who actually know wot they are doing - which helps.
Don't sweat the small stuff - look at the bigger picture. Also looks pretty gud for copper miners too, on the EV infrastructure front. IMHO.

Quite agree Glacial, been saying this myself, though nobody wants to believe you.
It wud b small beer (or Aquavit) to LKAB anyway and Kurt cud then get on with making the best he can out of Finnish Graphite - and gud luck to him on that.
It's Sweden for the Swedes - always has been - always will be, that's just how they roll.

Mmmmmm, he dusnt even have a photo, on the website yet - perhaps he is Dorian Gray,( in reverse) a bit like the share price !
No news of any significance either, since Merlin's departure, although I see that they have upgraded & refreshed their Company profile on Proactive investors website........

Anybody notice that Lundin Mining, one of the Global Mid-Tier Miners, put in a C$1.4 BN hostile bid for Nevson Mining in July this year, which was rejected and the Co went to another higher bidder. The reason why Lundin were doing this, is to get their hands on a Tier 1 Copper asset, as no-one has got these projects up for sale , currently.
So - Lundin still have a C$2BN cash warchest to buy a copper mine "somewhere" - and they aren't the only large mining Co in a similar situation. Copper , Zinc & Coal, are the global "Hot" commods, as LR said recently in a podcast after visiting a Global Commods Conference.
I suspect, that, as LR said in a EUZ podcast 2 days ago on Proactive Investors, the BZT SP is likely to move in a "Slingshot" action, when the PFS stage is reached. That will come out of the blue, when no-one is expecting it. Or before that stage, IF Mankayan is sold outright........

It all hinges on the Nickel price, at the end of the day, as the BFS works around a price of $14,000 per tonne and currently it is less than £12000, regardless of the "Scaleability" of the projects.
So, you have to take a view on future Nickel (& Cobalt ) prices. With Upcoming increasing EV demand & Steady Stainless Steel demand , together with an increasing need for more sophisticated batteries, when Tier 1 Nickel Assets are in short supply, my guess is that the Ni price going to go upwards. Also, think wot might happen if the China/Trump trade talks suddenly work out OK, after months of doom & gloom from the Omnipresent, perennially pessimistic global media ?!
If they do, todays 2.4p SP will look increasingly like the bargain of the century.
Also, don't forget that the major mining cos, who would be looking to buy HZM on the cheap, may not be averse to using their own professional de-rampers , in order to keep the SP down for their own purposes. Its been done before.

Euz is certainly in much better shape than it was at this time last year (as FCR) and LR, MC & CB have to be congratulated for that. It cud easily have gone bust at that point when JT "Left".
The project DOES seem to have traction and I take LRs Podcast point that results from many Junior Aim mining companies will be "Binary", and occurring "mid way through the PFS process.", when 3rd parties really know what you have actually got in the ground and if it pays to take it out.
As none of us really knows WHEN that will be, you "Have to be in, to win it", as they say, and trading is not going to get you anywhere.(especially for those on margin !).

Sounds like a long turgid journey through Philippine Bureaucracy - Yawwwwn !
SP down to new 52 week low I see. Father Jack would have a Word for this situation !
The HK Prezzo is NOT on the BZT website, although the Website has been recently re-designed it seems - and looks a lot better.

I was talking to a Commercial Mining Financier yesterday, who has been in the job for 30 years, and he said that he has never known such difficult funding conditions , as those that exist right now.
That's why so many Junior Miners are failing to find Funding or JV Partnerships and are just having to keep Placing, in order to survive - which many don't.
Lets hope that LR & MC & CB have better luck in this arena and don't have to give Toral away too cheaply to any interested 3rd party, despite the potential size of the resource , as many have done recently - eg Dalradian Resources ?

"Something" is going to cause the SP to accelerate very quickly", which may not be in the current "Knowledge Domain", from a standing start.

Good RNS. Message very clear: ****** to LO and other short term investors. We're getting on with funding the Mine anyway, with a view of going into production.
We don't need any funding/Placings, in the near future.
IMHO. DYOR. GLA.
Good RNS's today, say it all:
Toral is the "Real Deal" - we don't need Lago - it's too small & costs money to renew the licences.
Finding good Zn/Pb mineralisation close to surface, on the Eastern Extension of the pre-defined "Core" high grade area on the Block Model. This area has never been drilled before, so adds potential scope to extend the resource, in area, and , potentially, depth. Diamond Drill campaign to follow will either confirm or disprove this theory.
We don't need Peterhouse,, who had a "Place & Dump" business model. We are happy with Turner Pope and their Placee client base.
Bring on the SS, when the mkts have settled down.
IMHO DYOR. GLA.
I wonder if Larry will "Pop it in" , before the month end - just to show willing ?
The current market is pants in everything. Risk is off the table for the Pro's. However, these situations always change, usually when peeps are most depressed.
Don't see that delaying the SS helps anything. Just get it out and we'll see wot it says. It is wot it IS and if it's good then 3rd Parties will be interested, regardless. The converse, if its bad.
IMHO. DYOR. GLA.
Has anybody here actually SPOKEN to Kurt or Mr Farm recently about how they intend to take BEM forward to the successful granting of an exploitation licence ?
I'm sure that many here will have much better connections than I, and perhaps ought to do that, then report the result of those meetings or conversations back on this BB ?
It would be far more use, than pointless and puerile debates about Swedish politics, which are not going to achieve a single thing , as even the Swedes don't appear to know how to govern their own country ?
IMHO. DYOR. GLA.
He dusnt need to. All of the BOD have a shed-load of options, which will make them into Millionaires if it all goes right, and lose them no money, if it all goes wrong. Like most BOD's of most AIM listed Junior Mining Companies, big or small.
Perfect - for THEM !!
IMHO DYOR. GLA.
