Wudnt be at all surprised to see a low-ball bid, like Dalradian had 2 months ago from one of their Inst shareholders, which came off for them. BOD took jobs in the new Private Company and effectively shafted shareholders there.

The other thing that strikes me, rather ominously, with todays mkt cap of only £30m, is that Glencore, right now, could buy the whole of HZM for petty cash.

Perhaps that (or sumthing like it) is wot is going to happen ?

As Justin Waite wisely mused in his latest "Shoutcast", if it were me I'd leave the publication of the SS to the last trading week before Xmas, then you might catch the "Santa Rally", we seem to get most years.

The Overall market is just AWFUL at present and any potential good news (Which the SS SHOULD be), will just sink in a mire of global trade tensions and Boris Johnson & Theresa May, facing each other in a Misty Field at dawn, with Handbags fully drawn !

I think that we can see from the halving of the HZM SP this year that the sold shares have NOT found a good home and that the BOD are just relying on the normal market mechanism to sort things out.

Also don't think that they will be buying ANY shares PA as they don't personally have a lot of cash, they have shed loads of options which will make them Millionaires if all goes to plan and finally , because they don't want to be exposed to the downside of buying shares with their own money. That's just the way it is with most AIM Company BOD's these days. If the existing institutional investors were topping up, we would have seen the disclosure notices by now - so we must assume that they aren't.

Hard to see where it all goes from here really, but it would be good to see the economics of the 2nd Araguia line, perhaps an offtake partner and also what the mine funding plan actually is .........?

I think that the Nomad Strand Hanson should be able to help you with the EGM requirements Trellis, rather than the Broker and requesting that information alone might be enough to elicit a sharper response from the BOD and LR at the upcoming London presentation, if they know that there are "Rumblings in the Jungle."

I genuinely personally believe that Argentina is a complete waste of time and money (as the Country is Bankrupt) and that Management ought to be concentrating all of their efforts on Mankayan, even if that involves employing someone to butter up the Philippine authorities and take things further with any sale or JV leads on a full time basis - not just when LR & CB aren't doing things with their other Companies.

I am starting to think that there have been no offers at all, except general expressions of interest from various parties, which have not amounted to anything and that LR & CB are just making requisite noises to try and keep shareholders happy. I also don't think that there is ANY drilling going on in the Philippines, or examination of the Core Sheds or Goldfield's latest work, with a view to expanding the size, grade and resource status. I may be being unduly pessimistic here, but I think that these questions all need answering properly, rather than just glib "Brush Offs". Otherwise, we are just going to see yet more Placings and shareholder dilution.

Lets see wot LR has to say in London on the 28th.

Must admit, I never thought that SGZ would get either Funding or Planning Permission to open the Cononish mine, but, to give them credit, they have - and there is even the possibility of resource expansion. Premium price for the Scottish Gold and Sheila Fleet & Hammond & Inches products also good news too - the Yanks will absolutely LOVE that stuff , to go with their £200 bottles of Single Malt and Real Goatskin Sporrans !

You really would think that GAL would b on a much higher rating than this, given the size of the underground resource and the scope for resource expansion going forward. Especially given all the problems that Phelps and the BOD have had to go through to get where we are noy. (NI Spelling!).

Must admit, I didn't think that Phelps was going to make it at one point, when the Tree Huggers and objectors moved in and always thought that somewhere down the line , that the IRA would want their share of the spoils - but that hasn't happened - so good luck to Phelps - cos GAL is his pension plan and you can't say that for many Aim Listed Co CEO's !!

Wow, results a bit of a dogs dinner - and the £3.5m Pulp prices increase has totally stuffed them - and hence the halving of the Sp this year.

Shame really as a good company and TFP doing really well otherwise, with some truly "World-Class" products being produced for the Defence Industry.

Good time to buy on a longer view - although it will never be taken over, due to the high historical Family share ownership.

Absolutely cracking set of results yesterday, deserves a much higher rating IMHO. Diversification has paid off in spades. Fantastic Real EPS growth (not EBITDA nonsense) and useful increase in the dividend too - wots not to like ?

Mankayan is too large an asset to leave just sitting on the sidelines until management can be arsed to actually do something with it.

I personally think that we will see a significant upgrade in the Toral Resource , from" Inferred" to" Indicated" Resource Status and it is this , which has caused the delay in the production of the SS by AMS. This will make the Asset of considerably more interest to 3rd Parties, moving forward.

Also, I think that Management are refining their Capex & Opex estimates, in order that 3rd Parties have direct comparisons with competing assets elsewhere, in order to make their judgements, as to whether to invest in Toral, or not. If you are going to do a job, you may as well do it properly & just the once.

Whether the above SS is accompanied by a JV, Offtake Agreement or a Funding Offer from someone, remains to be seen, but simply having an NPV and an estimated IRR should provide a significant fillip to the current SP, IF the MM's allow that to happen, of course !

Still nearly £8m cash left , so they haven't spent very much over the course of 2018, despite producing a BFS. Just as well really because trying to raise any money in the current market is nigh on impossible.

All projects progressing on time and on track. Nickel price is wot it is, and will improve over time.

Plenty to like really. SP reaction since the BFS publication seems very anomalous - guess there was quite a lot of "Hot" money in there, which needed to come out.

Mmmm. Except wen U arrive at the only 2 supercharger stations North of Edinburgh, as I did, at night, and they are both full , necessitating overnight stops. There are only 4 North of the Border in the whole of Scotland, which is quite a big country. So, there need to be at least 10 times as many - which is the point I was trying to make. Dundee and Aberdeen don't have any coverage at all.

Concur with FS & Slubby. Don't sweat the small stuff - look at the larger picture.

We haven't even begun to scratch the surface of EV Ownership in the UK yet, and there are plenty of other countires like us. If I wanted to drive from Manchester to the top of Scotland, in an EV today, in one day , I cudnt do it. It wud take me at least two days and an extra Hotel Stop, and I guarantee that the Hotel Wudnt have an EV charging point and wud wan to charge me for using their own electric supply !

And that's before you even think about how many cars people are going to have to buy and the changes required for Service Stations, Motorway stops and Shopping Centres/ Supermarkets. It's a tidal wave of change - and it's going to happen much sooner than the Motor Companies and Big OIl Companies wanted it to happen , mainly thanks to Elon Musk & his chums.

VERY good for copper and Cobalt Miners too , IMHO, as 1% Copper is now a thing of the past and Cobalt is as rare as hens teeth.

We stand now at a point in Human History that is similar to the one that existed before Isambard kingdom Brunel came along - and look wot happened after that.......!.
