Abolutely Oiltap, and also worth pointing out that it was largely LR who alerted JT to the Toral Project in the 1st Place, when he was a Director of MAFL. They sold the Toral deposit, as owners of "Crestgate", who, together with Lundin owned the Toral/Lago Project.
In short, LR knew and met with the Lundin people, long before the true value of the asset was proved up. They probably didn't trust MAFL to successfully prove the thing up & have, no doubt, been keeping a watchful eye on it ever since the sale.
The other Mid Cap Party who may well fit the bill as a Suitor, in my mind, is Boliden (also a company of Swedish Origin, Like Lundin, despite the latter's current Canadian Listing).Boliden have a considerable interest in the Zinc/Lead market and own the massive "Tara" mine at Navan in Ireland, which has just had it's mine life extended. The deposit there was a historical 42m tonnes of Zn/Pb. They also own Smelters in Norway & Sweden , which are currently under-utilised. Glencore are also a possibility , as they own the Spanish Asturias Smelter in Spain, but I think that they are too tied up with drilling Pallas Green, in Ireland to bother with Toral - It would be "small beer" for them to buy or JV it though.
So, these things potentially all tie together, but the one thing that still doesn't, is : why haven't the Directors (apart from CB) filled their boots, in the market. Seems very odd to me, if they are so "Excited" about their project, as they claim to be on Proactive Investors & Sharetalk podcasts .............. ?
