Well, the Company is still substantially loss-making and the cash position is relatively low, so the market smells another Placing - hence today's share price movt , in a nutshell. Combine that with a lot of "Hot" money in the stock and nervous short term traders, and the result is complete.

It simply extends the Monitoring period , so that traders using the Stock Exchange Automated Quotation System (SETS) can change the input of their trades within the new trade monitoring period. Only 2 allowed per stock per day .
It happens when volumes are out of the norm and where the market has gone "Fast" , to use the old terminology.

Basically just means MM's , Brokers and Trade Buyers can't keep up with the volume of business, so they need more time to sort it out. Often happens with relatively illiquid stocks.

As previous poster said , perfectly normal activity and nothing to worry about. Certainly a lot better than no volume at all !!

Exactly, getting the JORC 2012, without having to go through all the time & expense of further drilling was the "Company Maker" which broke the Stalemate which JT had got it into.

Interesting Sharetalk Comparison with SASR Zinc mine, sold for $400m recently and even if it costs $100m to build the EUZ mine, that would still throw off $300m - IF a similar deal could be done, for a similar sized Zinc Asset like EUZ. The EUZ Mkt Cap is currently $10m !!

Forgot to mention, the Resource at Mankayan is clearly going to be upgraded by current work underway by LR, CB & Team.

And it's big enough as it is - NPV of $800m !!

When I listen to Justin Waite, I am always reminded of something that Ladies have, and Gentlemen don't.

But he makes some interesting points this time and has obviously had an "off the Record" chat with LR & CB, which I suspected had taken place last week. Not sure he's correct about Argentina though - looks like a basket case to me - but the Philippines is fair comment - despite the Typhoon.

Mine construction grants are available from both the Provincial and State Govts, if sufficient numbers of local Spanish People are employed on a Full-Time basis. I imagine that is sumthing that wud b investigated as we approach the Pre-Feasibility Study Stage.(assuming it's taken that far). SS tends to be a lot more basic than that, but still gives a good idea if a mine wud b viable, or not.

Large history of Mineral Mining in the area and a lot of local "Old Boys" are still around to comment on wot came out of those mines. Some of these have already bin interviewed by Mngmt.

Agreed with everything said recently on here, But think it is more likely to go to a JV, as cash purchases of Mineral Assets are pretty rare these days, even from the "Big Boys". RTZ, BHP etc.

They DO need a new "Deal-maker" on the BOD and to address the project with more vitality & concentration.

Someone like David Hall or Graham Brown of HZM & Eris would fit the bill nicely, as an example, IMHO. There are many others out there.

I shall draw up a short-list and make a polite Phone-Call to LR & report back !!

Quite agree JODO. I think that Tom Winnifrith at ShareProphets has got the perfect handle on CGNR, and I don't normally put any faith in him.

How can CGNR ever succeed when it is constantly spending more than it generates in Placing Revenue, and yet STILL has to complete a meaningful drill campaign at Clontibret ? Answer is , it can't.

The Prof, Maureen et al, just want the whole gravy train to keep rolling on, to maintain their lifestyles. They do not want ANY change in the BOD of the Company, at all.

No-one is going to buy CGNR for decent money, and if they DO buy it, they will offer shareholders peanuts, whilst collaring the majority of the asset value for themselves - just like it happened at Dalradian !

Avoid.

In my view Galantas , or even Erris Resources has more chance of success, in Ireland, than this Serial POS !

You'd b better off selling & putting the money into BZT or EUZ, as at least either of those 2 have at least a CHANCE of some success. This thing is just going to go bust , or b taken private. BOD attitude says it all.

Not sure that I know any more than anyone else Quin, but I believe in both the Asset AND the TEAM, in it's newly re-constituted form. Did you notice LR & other Directors loading up with more Options the other day , when previously they had little exposure to the company's equity ? That's always a telling sign to me.

I DO know that the Chinese and South Koreans have been sniffing around the Philippine's various semi-abandoned mining projects recently, after the re-issuing of many mining permits, following the Govt pollution purge. These big copper projects are just not readily available anymore and the sheer amount of copper the World is going to need, for EV Infrastructure Installation is simply mind-blowing. Motor Manufs wanting to control their own destinies on this may well be the key to future ownership of Mankayan ?

Also, no-one is in it - as I've said before - and THAT is always encouraging.

EUZ picking up well today on positive mine permit news, so LR & Team are clearly on a roll and I know that BZT is NOT on the back-burner either, as far as they are concerned.

Worth having a look at Rathdowney Resources, a Polish Zn/Pb project with 24 m tonnes proven, for a guide as to costs and project timescales. they are a little ahead of EUZ , approaching their PFS, but some useful numbers in there to compare. David Hall & Jeremy Martin of HZM , who have now founded Erris Resources, a Zn/Pb/Ag/Au project in Ireland, were founding Directors, although have since moved on from Rathdowney.

Rathdowney Mkt cap currently approx. CAD$25m.

Well, he used to be pretty useless, back in the BEM , PR days, but seems to have recently undergone a big change of personal business attitude, and a desire to make both BZT and EUZ work. CB is no fool either, and sees the value in Mankayan, where, behind the scenes, I believe that discussions are taking place, in a very "Philippino" way about the ultimate fate of Mankayan. I suspect that is why Ronnie Siapno is still on the BOD, as there's no reason for him to be there otherwise. LR got out of Tern, MAFL and RLD to concentrate on these 2 Cos.

This is one of the few major global copper projects which has been pre-prepared and fully JORC'd and now needs a Major Global Miner, or large, non-mining End-User (think Oil Majors or Car Manuf's) to fund this $900m project.

As Warren Buffet (and Lord Rothschild) said, you need to buy these things when no-one else is looking. And no-one is, with BZT, because they are all (rightly) fed up with it's poor historical performance. But the past is no guide to the future.

Pillar grades looking very good, at 18% + combined Zn/Pb, with useful and meaningful Silver credit as well.

Lets see what underground Drilling results reveal - that will be the proof of the pudding, especially the continuation o trend, away from the Old Mine.

I see that the new Mega Chinese Steel Plant in South Africa finally got the go-ahead recently, with Shenzen Iron & Steel. Weirdly, it's in a place called "Limpopo Province". A small company called FCR used to have a 308m ton iron deposit there didn't they ?

I wonder who REALLY bought the Moonlight Licence for Aus 1 ? !
