It's irrelevant now anyway, it's been soun out and the door is closed. It's a separate entity now so has no bearing on orph bar a shared executive
I was blown away tonight, answered every query I had and did it with confidence
Who else is quite looking forward to watching poolbeg develop over the next nine months, worry free?

Let's focus on more important things; results tomorrow and a CF presentation on the same day. I'm going to assume he wouldn't immediately do a presentation unless the results or other news in the same RNS were positive so I'm expecting some excitement in the build up.
what about revenues for the second lab across the road? what about revenue from the gov contract? what about testing revenue?
I'll go -£1.5m for the year but would really like to see a £0.1m profit just to get that tick box on the various sites that assess company values vs their share price.
I would, however, echo sentiments that the forward looking statement plus any other info nuggets is more important
No, they will be put in their own pie
Moniman, no, you don't have to hold ORPH, its just poolbeg you cant trade.
The 9 month lock in is from after admission, which itself may never happen, especially if we see the company sold before listing.
Deepjoy, I disagree with your take on this. This spin out has added no value to the company and has been effectively priced as worthless since it was ever found to exist. The only thing ORPH are losing is £xxx used to set this as a spin out. How can you put a meaningful price on this aside from that? I'd like to see you try.
I think it's safe to assume it is worth sub 1% of ORPH and in need of proper funding and a lot of effort to progress to any meaningful stage, but at this moment in time, it's worth very little. I'm sure the MMs will be smart enough to open ~flat on the day but will the private investors follow their lead.
No, its sterling
It annoys me when people talk of the orph SP falling for a non-core, zero valued asset being spun out. One that no one had even heard of until a few months ago. There is no real reason for a fall, or certainly nothing beyond the small funds used to set it up, but if people keep saying it then it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy
Wow is earache totally misunderstand a relatively simple concept and refusing to back down? Surely not, he's normally so much better than that
re the fourth facility, CF seemed to suggest ion his last interview that they would rather have lower capacity in order to create scarcity and be able to charge more. Not sure I agree with that philosophy (if indeed he did even mean that) but he's in a better position to make these calls than me.
Perhaps he is playing hardball in the hopes that a pharma will be so desperate they will pay for a new facility like the last one.
yes that I definitely can see happening although I can't see any long term holders being phased by the results at all. I can't see them being outside -£10m to +£5m and is anyone here buying or selling on any figure inbetween? I suppose if they can post a small profit overall that would significant enough to entice buying and potentially new II, we could certainly do with one of those
Considering hes always said he doesnt like massive swings in SP, I cant see him holding news back to hit in one go.
he did say that in one interview then more recently he said not to expect too much. I think there were a few contracts (like the government one) where they can in effect pick which year some or all of the revenue/profit is assigned to, so perhaps he is thinking it is better to 'give' more to 2021-22 as he gears up to sell the company.
Can anyone familiar with accounting confirm they are able to do that?
Cathal recently said not to get excited about results. I'd guess maybe minus £2-3m. The forward looking statement is more important to me and hopefully it will contain another couple of interesting soundbites
you're sounding a bit desperate there, brinley
