it was 2.47 shares per HVO shares so break even for £1 would have been 40.48p
Buy price rising on every purchase, certainly hints at a worked buy behind the scenes. Think you'd be mad to sell now before end of april
*the only, not "the other"
UK SPC surging now too, wonder if there's a leak there relating to the first spin out and Cathal/Raglan's holding there
ORPH's first spin out is guaranteed within the next ~2 weeks and whilst the details arent know yet, the other SPAC with any current link is this one, that would be the likely cause of the rise. I guess its a game of cat and mouse with people watching hoping for a further fall back before the rise but also scared to wait too long so once they see it rising they give up on the possibility of waiting and just buy in through FOMO
...my eductaed guess
id take a TR1 RNS because it isn't a given
ceilidhdan, 1000% right, I was in it and its mostly a bunch of clueless people slapping each other on the back. There is nothing to be gleaned in the telegram group that you wouldn't get from here/eskers on twitter/cathal interviews. Save yourself the notifications and don't bother
Looks like a huge day, NT to buy at every step. Hoping a TR1 for a new II at some point
nowhere near a record but undeniably high volume as you would expect after the interview and RNS today!
Seems like you're arguing semantics here, I don't think either of you are wrong, best to just leave it
Infor25, your orph holding is unaffected. Spin offs are effectively a 'freebie' so there is no decision to make. You will keep all your orph shares and your percentage share of the company wont change. You will ALSO get a percentage share of the new company(s), it might not be quite same percentage if there are fundraises on the new shares or if they go the SPAC route, where a proportion of the business has to be given to current spac holders, but it will be inline with all the other OPRH holders.
In answer to your other question, the spin off would be mutually exclusive - it will no longer be owned by ORPH as a company (ie if you bought orph shares after the spin off the second company would be irrelevant to you and so the any increase in one does not affect the other, at least not directly - obviously macro issues or cathal falling under a bus might affect them both.
Is Cathal doing us PIs favours? Just feels a bit like he waited til Invesco were out and waited til the new tax year for all of this to come in rapid succession...
Thanks Cathal, either way
Excuse the naivety but I didn't even realise this would have an official launch, I just kind of thought it was ready to go and they were in discussions behind the scenes to make deals. It looks like the wait was down to us having not finished the product rather than the wearables not being as desperate as I'd hoped, so to me this is huge!
Bring in that first contract, whoever it is, can you imagine how big an effect having a name like apple/Samsung/Google in the RNS will have?
Lol I went back to find Longinvestments and stick the knife in his stupidity but looks like his account has been blocked and deleted.
It all stays in isa
*potential
Exactly NST, I think people are forgetting the potentially to earn a lot more by reinvesting dividends and spin offs into orph, you can get much higher than x3 from here even if orph did sell out at £1.
After that interview he did a week or two ago I had cooled on the idea of an open asset being spun into this, but watching the LSE interview yesterday it feels a lot more likely again. He mentioned raglan and mentioned investing £500k of his own money too so can't really see why he WOULDNT use this spac given he's already in. Think this could rise quickly back up to 0.35, especially if there is a further holdings RNs from raglan or even Cathal himself.
Keep eyes on orphpharma.com too
Who has controlling stake of DIM then, I thought it was our data
Invesco are out? How have they sold 20 million shares in 2 days of trading, did he say somebody bought them out?
Ill watch the interview later but I couldn't watch it live this time. What did he say about disease in motion
